when you use wii u vc injects for wii and GC games... you don't need to hack the vWii to play wii backups and GC backups?

I have a question I thought I read that u can have nintendont play the games from Wii u HD that has wii u games on it. And that they can be selected from a directory in the forwarder. So far tho, i can play them by selecting game from Wii u menu but not if I go in the nintendont itself, they don't show up.

I install the injects with wiiugxp installer onto HDD. Also when I create the injects with techonmoon I put them in the install folder of sd card.

.this is so impressive. im just finding this now. so can you inject emulators as well being that it says for homebrew you can inject DOL files?

Ok, there seems to be some confusion as to what you want.

You asked where to get the GC Title ID, which I helped you with, now, what your asking regarding the last tab in the program is totally different to what you want.

You need to put the TITLE KEY for Rhythm Heaven Fever (US), as this app needs the base game to create the inject.

There is one site that can give you the Title Key for this game, the rules here that we never speak of such site as to where it is or the URL, your on your own with this one.

Thanks for your answer....

Since I can't provide the main.dol because it's copyright material I prepared a folder to simple patch.

Note it only applies to the USA version of the game (I tried DCKR v1.01)
What it patch: Y=run, B=jump, ZR=blow/stomp
  1. Open your ISO with WiiScrubber
  2. In DATA partition look for main.dol file, right click extract and save it on DKRC CC patch folder
  3. In the DKRC CC patch folder open apply_patch.bat
  4. With the main.dol patched go to WiiScrubber again, select main.dol right click replace and select the patched main.dol
  5. ???
  6. Profit
Now you can inject your shiny new DKRC with gamepad support :P

The patcher .exe is part of @Wiimm tools, and the .gct code is from @crediar so I don't take credit on that.

I'm getting errors when applying the patch... is there any other way to do it?

I've been having an issue with some of my injections, and I believe it has to do with the Classic Controller Emulation. I've been trying to inject some Mario Kart Wii custom track distribution ISO's (Namely Wiimm's Mario Kart Fun) and after a while of playing on the gamepad, the Wii U freezes up and the gamepad emits a loud buzzing noise. After it happens the first time post-install, it happens at the beginning of each new race on any course. This doesn't happen with a vanilla MKWii ISO injection, with other custom track distributions I have tried, or any other game on my system. It also doesn't happen when choosing to play with the Wii Remote, or creating an injection without CC emulation. Any idea why this could be?

Wii injects are not perfect, regardless if they are original Wii gmes or game mods, nothing you can do to fix a game that freezes at the exact same spot or something that you can do to replicate the game crashing.
That's just a the way it is I'm afraid.

Hey, I'm super new to Wii U hacking and in fact, I haven't even gotten a Wii U yet, I'm just planning out my setup. Does this tool allow me to
(1) Run Wii and Gamecube games without hacking the vWii menu?
(2) Run Wii and Gamecube games without having to install Nintendont or any other program?
(3) Have all my Wii U/Wii/Gamecube backups on one USB Hard Drive?
From my understanding, none of these was possible in the past but I'm not sure if this tool solves these issues or simply acts a forwarder that looks like a VC channel on the Wii U menu. I know this thread is pretty dated but any response would be greatly appreciated, thanks a lot!

1- No, you need to hack vWii first.
2- Running Wii games is a native feature of wii u unless you mean backups then you need a hacked vwii and a backup loader app. For gamecube games you do need nintendont installed.
3- For wii u and wii backups on the same usb hard drive YES. For gamecube backups I'm haven't try it because I use an sd card to store them.

3-Wii and GC Injects can be installed on the same hard drive as your WiiU installed games. As september796 stated, if your not going down the GC inject path, you can simply store the GC ISO's on your SD CARD, from here Nintendont will be able to play them straight from the SD CARD.

Additional Notes:
If you don't want to go down the inject path altogether, you can have the Wii/GC ISO's stored on a separate hard drive (FAT32) and just use USB Loader GX/Nintendont in vWii (must be softmodded) mode to play Wii/GC games (USB Loader GX has Nintendont integrated). If your wondering if you can connect two hard drive at the same time? The answer is NO, it's either one or the other.
Pro: This is less time consuming and not having to worry about injecting Wii/GC games and install, just copy the ISO you want to play on the hard drive and play using USB Loader GX.
Con: You can't have the one hard drive for both WiiU games and Wii/GC ISO's for use with USB Loader GX, and also not having the game icon on the main WiiU menu.

I don't know how to make the gamepad/meta options valid. I have no idea what to do with it because I am trying to make a wii64 (with gamepad support!) Wad or whatever the crap. Everything else is valid

Does anyone know how to fix this error? This is for Super Samsh Bros. Brawl. The progress gets stuck at "Processing game for NFS Conversion" if I try to continue. I don't have the "TIKTEMP" folder or "tmdbin" file when the injector is running and the compatibility website said the host game was Xenoblade Chronicles but the Titlekey for RHF is locked in.

No you don't need vwii, that's what wiivc is for. Yes all games can go on hard drive then and you don't need nintendont. I've only been using this a week and it's brilliant

@FIX94 Do you know why I can't patch Majora's Mask (NARE) with GetExtTypePatcher?
Patching 00000001.app gives the error 'input is not a dol file'
