Yea I know I just wanted to be 100% on it, I still don't get why GM9i doesn't though, hopefully Rob fixes that
There's no padding at the end of the .nds file like in TWiLight Menu++, which is why the banner is shown blank.
and adds cart dumping with TWL support soon
libnds itself doesn't support TWL cart reading, I believe.

That is VERY interesting.
I knew the problem had to do with a lack of padding, but I didn't consider when a banner is the last thing in an nds file. I can make my program patch those situations.

Banner size should be 0x23C0 bytes, so when the banner appears near or at the end of the .nds file, add some bytes at the end, so that the banner appears as 0x23C0 bytes.

Can you be more specific? Which game?
All of them. They work fine when I launch them from Unlaunch, but they just don't show up in the DSi menu. One thing I've noticed is that in Unlaunch, the DSiWare I had already installed before, like Four Swords and Flipnote, are listed twice, once in green and once in gray (or whatever that colour is supposed to be), but the newly installed DSiWare is only listed in gray.

Another thing I just noticed when going over the list again is that all of the DSiWare I had already installed before has seven zeroes and one non-zero before the .app (edit: I was wrong, it's not all of them), and everything installed through TMFH has eight zeroes before the .app.

What I did to get here was: install Unlaunch, install HiyaCFW, then load TMFH from Unlaunch and install the DSiWare.

Edit: I just tried installing Twilight Menu++, and it doesn't show up either, so the problem is not with the way the titles are installed through TMFH. I'll dig into it some more.

Turns out the DSi was still booting to its internal NAND, and not to the SD card's SDNAND. This here turned out to be the solution to get my DSi to boot to the SD card instead, and now everything works as expected.

Huh, now I'm running into yet another different issue. With fourteen titles installed on the SD card (on top of the system titles, Flipnote and Four Swords which are on the DSi itself already), I get the black "An error has occurred" screen when HiyaCFW is supposed to send me to the launcher. Thirteen titles are just fine. I did notice that installing a game with TMFH installs on both the SD card and the DSi itself, and I suspect the problem shows up as soon as the DSi has less than 100MB free in its internal memory.

Oh, it doesn't, although I did find the text confusing too - this app doesn't even access the internal flash, and "free DSi space" means "the official capacity of an empty twlnand partition - the size of the files on SD that are located inside folders with names that are normally used in twlnand" (in fact I don't think it should subtract /photo/ since twlp is a separate partition)

And yes, there is a fixed limit about the combined size of DSiware - in fact it's more surprising that it starts at all with a 2 GB twlnand without filling space to less than 256 MB free!
