We are able to boot, as well as boot into rcm. It just hangs on the nintendo switch logo when launching ofw or cfw

Wait, what? Last I knew, Choidujour or it's NX variant don't generate fresh NANDS. I mean, theoretically, you could generate a fresh system/user partitions and restore those. But ProdInfo is console unique so there's no way it can generate one for you, not to mention you can't use the NX if you can't even boot the Switch.

My bad. I didn't realize that it couldn't help you if your ProdInfo was borked.

Do we have any actual confirmation that the ProdInfo is indeed corrupt?

I mean, with Creatable's explination, he said it overwrites BIS. Bis could literally mean any of the nand partitions. It's safe to say that it's either ProdInfo or System since the console won't boot. And last time brick code went around, it hit prodinfo because that's the hardest to recover from.

Well if anyone has the ability to poke around inside of the nsp, I have a link to the original file I could pm for confirmation. Me and every other user here that said they got hit with the same thing are all bricked because of this exact same file

I like what nintendo is doing with the fake nps. Pirates don't deserve anything else.
How does he know if the prodinfo is corrupted?

Why are you assuming that it was Nintendo that did this, and not some random troll on DU?

If I buy a switch now I will still be able to use sx os?? or all of them are patched ? I miss my switch so much

Because writing a bricker is not that easy, plus they fight against the pirates and this is one of the best ways to do it.
You're making assumptions based on conjecture. It is very unlikely that it was Nintendo that made this. I'd wager it was just someone with an advanced understanding of what the Switch can do, that made it just for fun.

Well both cases serve their purpose IMO.

Going to buy a switch off of craigslist now, bringing along my rcm jig as well to test it for being able to be hacked. Seems like the easiest and best solution lol

Actually it is "pretty easy."
If 4chan could do it (PozzNX) anyone can.

Yeah, stuff on the Switch is hella-dangerous. You have to know what you're doing or it's very easy to break things. I don't know why people don't make nand backups when hacking their Switches because there's quite a few people who are now out $300.
