ok so newb question; how do you save the new codes that you created? i was tinkering with the floor mod in Disgaea 4 but everytime i re-play te game the cheat database reverts back to its untouched state. (also it seems that if you stay long enough in the same floor[in my case floors 1 to 9] range you would Automatically enter innocent town after 9 floors, regards of where yo are in the item world, which is easily solved by altering the adress which i can't seem to find -_-)

When viewing your cheat list, press up on the left analog stick. You'll see a prompt at the bottom of the screen. Press circle to save.

@Roah @eighthdayregret Now I don't know if this is an issue or not, but the Toukiden Kiwami items cheat is a little bit weird. It works for completing quests and stuff, but upgrading weapons isn't possible with all the items maxed out, am I idiot or is there a work-around with this? ;-;

can you update cheats for PCSE00240 Muramasa Rebirth (NA - NoNpDrm)
to v1.06 so we can play it with DLC and thank you
Do they not work for you? Muramasa was one of the first games I ever tested cheats for when I first installed VitaCheat, and all the codes worked just fine, except for the one to fill your spirit gauge by pressing square.

Not sure about this, but I'll take a look with my copy of the game and let you know.

If the game is nondprm all you should have to do to update the game is to update it like you normally would via the live area. If it is a mai dump you need to copy all the update files from the update folder then paste them in the game folder. For the mai update method you will need to re-install the game after you update it so back up any save data if you need to.

Oh I'm aware on how to update - which I have. It's that the update is at version 1.09 and the codes are for 1.06. Tried resetting it a few times but they don't work.

Completed the game a few years ago on PS3 but want to play for fun now, so don't really want to do the grind again.

hi Rikunoktis

As I stated in my post, the cheats were not made by me. Dask is the one who made them and they were posted on Shumno's git. You would need for someone else to make cheats for the DLC characters, or make them yourself if you can.

I didn't test the 4 DLC characters as I have already 100%'d the game way before messing with vitacheat on any game and, to be honest, I didn't even remember there was DLC when testing these codes, so we may need to ask @Roah or @eighthdayregret to put a note stating that the codes may not work on the DLC characters.

Not sure about this, but I'll take a look with my copy of the game and let you know.
I've been testing this with both Toukiden Kiwami and Toukiden 2.

In Kiwami they work perfectly, but you first need to defeat certain enemies at certain Phases and at certain difficulties (like Expert and Ultimate) for the upgrades to show up. For example, to be able to upgrade the "Dimensional" series of weapons you need to kill a couple of Metagnost enemies. It isn't enought just finishing the game and having all materials; you need to actually have defeated X enemy for their weapon to show up, you get it's items and then you can upgrade said weapons. This is even more annoying when you are trying to make the Mitama weapons, as some of them can't even be seen on the menu if you don't have the Mitama, and some Mitamas are extremely rare and hard to find. As far as I've tested, the item codes in Kiwami work, they let me upgrade as long as I've already defeated the enemies required for the weapons and/or have the Mitama, and they don't present any issues so far.

On the other hand, Toukiden 2, at least in my case, shows this behaviour that @alphasurge is describing. I have already finished the story at Phase 7 on missions (the max for story mode) and I'm at Phase 10 on Multiplayer, but I cannot upgrade anything on the game, be it weapons or armor, which is weird. Yes, I've killed at least 1 of each enemy both on the field and in multiplayer, but not even one upgrade even for the weakest weapons is available. The only weapons I've been using are the ones from the shop that are rank 4 (yes, I've been fighting Phase 9 and 10 enemies with weapons that weak/useless), and they are even upgraded to +10 as I've already found the legendary blacksmith, but the upgrades to make other weapons (the game calls it Reforge) are not available yet.

I don't know if it has something to do with the code, or maybe the mechanics in Toukiden 2 are different (which doesn't seem to be the case from what I've read), or maybe I'm missing something really obvious and I'm being an idiot for not noticing it. If you can provide any help and/or if you need testing any code, let me know. In the worst case scenario, I can just rush a new game myself and make more tests with the code on separate save files, even if I need to clear the story one or two times more.

VUC only shows the latest update (1.09), so you would need to find a dump which contains 1.06, or try your luck on the net to see if you can find the link for the 1.06 one (unlikely, and we aren't even sure if the link gets removed like most games with cumulative updates).

I've sent you a PM with a link that has the game with the 1.06 update. It's not a .PKG link, so you should be wary of it as we can't really be sure of what has been uploaded.

I can also confirm the codes work with DLC characters on the latest US PSN version without NoNPDRM, as I didn't have that plugin installed at the time of my testing.

Hi,

I've posted in the World of FF dedicated thread but I think it's more a problem with how I use Vita Cheat than the .psv file itself.

I have 1.03 EU version of the game and VitaCheat z05 installed on 3.65.

Cheat list is showing properly with L+Right D Pad. I even can activate them, they turn blue but nothing change in the game.

I suppose that if Vita Cheat GUI is working, then I installed it correctly.

Correct me if I'm wrong, I just have to put the GAME_ID.psv file into db folder and use the codes?

Thanks, GBATEMP is the only place where I found a thread for this game (and EU version...)

IIRC, the codes for the EU version of the game were for a Mai dump, so they may not work if you are using a NoNpDrm version of the game, and you only needed to edit directly from the memory browser (I tried this and it works, but this is another game that I have already completed so I didn't test everything you could technically do with the item/mirage spreadsheet shared by the community).

You could try using the NA version codes to see if they work (sometimes they do). Otherwise, you would need to request for the codes or make them yourself. I think Roah made the NA codes using the spreadsheet (I could be wrong), so maybe you could request them on his git.

Ah i see. Since the your game is at version 1.09 and the cheats are for version 1.06 they will sadly only work for version 1.06. You could if possible delete the game and download patch 1.06? that way the cheats will work. I am unsure if you can do this though as the game may be only downloadable at version 1.03 or some such.

If using NPS, it will only have the latest Patch. Unless another User has Posted previous Patches......

Hi, thank you for the answer.

So I'm not using a NoNpDrm version of the game, it's the cartridge version I bought. Regarding the memory browser, I've tried to change manually but I guess I have a big lack of knowledge (even if I tried to understand on the other thread what seems to be so easy for the others :) )

I'll try the NA code, might be the only thing I'm able to do by myself and ping Roah maybe ;)
