I'd imagine you may have figured this out by now, but there is a fork of PKGI with more features called PKGJ ( https://github.com/blastrock/pkgj ) you should probably check out.

If you haven't yet, extra features (over top of PKGI) include
  • queues multiple downloads.
  • supports the TSV file format.
  • installs game updates, DLCs, PSM, PSP and PSX games.

Yes, it works. It's very similar to PKGi but they have added some more features including the ability to download PSX games and themes and other content. You will have to edit your config file (I assume that's what your original question was regarding). If you need it, I can post you a copy of mine to pastebin or something. It shouldn't be hard though, the URL's are available quite freely.
