I was playing earthbound and when I tried to load my last save it says it's not in a snes9x snapshot format. What do I do?

To seriously answer your question though, I like the HQ4X filter, it doesn't seem to affect fps for most games and it looks pretty nice. There was a filter I really loved in a previous version, but sadly it was removed :c

So depending on the filters/shaders, it may slow down the game? The switch can't handle it or it just needs more optimization?

Yeah, some filters are noticeably slower than others while many have no performance impact at all. It's easy to nintendo switch between them in game to see which you like most. Just download psnes and experiment, it's free afterall
