Got Switch Online?
Nintendo's Online service launched last week for Switch, and we would like to know how many of you have signed up!
Please answer the poll and comment on what you think of Nintendo's new paid Switch Online service.
I suggest you not to share that kind of thing
IDK if it works that way, but I guess if one of your subscriber hack his console, maybe all subscriber to your account will get banned
As I said, IDK if it works that way
But the shitpost is true. The only argument people seems to use to defend the service is the "but it's cheaper than the competition".Nice shitpost. Got anything that actually is meaningful?
"Stop liking what I don't like!"
I really don’t know why people get so pissed over €20.
Yes, they screwed up Cloud Saves, NES games are kinda worthless, but still fun and the “special offers” are bullshit, I don’t see why people get so pissed making 5 videos in a row talking about how bad this service is.
This is the truest thing out there right now. Nintendo isn't exactly known for "excellent online services". So, if they're looking to start charging people for it, they need to offer real incentives. One of which being excellent dedicated servers.I currently don't own a Switch yet but the online looks pretty abhorrent in it's current state. Nintendo has stated that they are working on dedicated servers from what I heard although considering the current state of the Switch's online and Nintendo's history with online services I'm a bit skeptical if Nintendo can even pull it off.
That makes more sense. It was never about the money that was the problem, it was what they offered for that money. A game a Month would be nice. And I want better online from them then what we got in the past. I'm already over the VC service they have. Games are too slow released because of licensing. I don't care about it at all. We got Unofficial Emulators that does a much better job and I already have access to all games.I highly doubt that to be honest.

@SG854 I meant that its hard to justify such price when then arent offering us basically any benefits apart from the really poorly maintained online play. I hope that changes because last months of Splatoon were unbearable in ranked online.
I love Good old Nintendo I just want to see them being a bit more "giving" you know. One free game per month wouldnt hurt them :S
...except it wasn't meant to be free for this long. It was supposed to launch a year ago!I think charging for a service that has been free for a year with minimal “features” that should be part of the console anyway is a poor decision.
Because it is bad? Seriously, being cheaper =/= a good service.BTW, those saying "There are no voice chat, there no features like on PS4/XBO"
Guess why it's cheaper... seriously, take a guess...
well, like everywhere xDBecause it is bad? Seriously, being cheaper =/= a good service.
...why would net neutrality influence that? There are _tons_ of services out there that offer premium servers for a fee alongside free servers.I'm afraid you can't have that - net neutrality and all. God forbid people were to buy preferential access to services, am I right?
Preferential treatment by an Internet service, meaning a fast lane, kind of goes against the entire point of NN....why would net neutrality influence that? There are _tons_ of services out there that offer premium servers for a fee alongside free servers.
Is there any other online gaming services besides Microsoft and Nintendo that we can make comparisons.Because it is bad? Seriously, being cheaper =/= a good service.
Some objective insight would be great, but I'm not seeing much of that outside of this biased negativity. :oIs there any other online gaming services besides Microsoft and Nintendo that we can make comparisons.
I want to compare if the $20 Nintendo Online is actually a rip off compared to other services if there is any in the same price range that offers more.
Nintendo has NES games right now.
I with you on Net Neutrality. Regulation Kills innovation. It eliminates competition and consumers suffer from a worse service because of it.Preferential treatment by an Internet service, meaning a fast lane, kind of goes against the entire point of NN.
Any objective insight would be great. Biased negativity makes people dumber in the process. Some objective insight would be great, but I'm not seeing much of that outside of this biased negativity. :o
