Has this custom firmware been released yet? :/
Dude... this question has been asked (and answered) allready two times on litteraly this same page. It's a kind of yes.
I know you are "theasker" but please become "thereader" or "thethinker"...

I still have very high hopes for atmosphere, we wouldn't have gotten as far without all the progress made.
When a release date was announced I of course braced myself for that day to come, and when it didn't well... what could I do?
There is no point in complaining or bashing on the matter, eventually things will be just like we'd like to.
ATMOSPHERE FTW!!!

Anywho.... I really liked how well REBUG worked for the PS3, with all the different things the switch is capable of doing and with the belief that atmosphere will be built as the best and most stable CFW out there for the switch, would it be a fair assessment to see Atmosphere being on that level for the switch as REBUG was for the PS3?

How can it be vapourware when the files are right there in the Github?
Totally agree. And one thing is ppl without any faith at all saying it will never be fully officially released to calling it vapourware like if nothing ever existed or anything being out there 4 anyone when actually there is a lot and I keep seeing work almost every day...

Man all of those people complaining...

I started C for real not so long ago, was doing some practise and bugged on a little software...
And they get to do all the work + debugging (especially when you can't really debug in conventionnal ways).

Bet they announce Splatoons 3 before Atmosphere...

Is it on the page that says "There aren’t any releases here"?
If you had a development setup, you could download the source and compile and run it right now. It's not complete but some people have been using hekate to launch what's in Atmosphere now instead of ReiNX, RajNX, or SX OS. A lot of important functionality you see in a lot of the current CFW releases have been pulled directly from Atmosphere source code and it has been really huge to get the scene to the point it's gotten to today. If anything, sciresm and the rest of the contributors are doing most of the cutting edge heavy lifting while a lot of the other releases just combine a bunch of other projects, are more polished, and are more user friendly with some of the other bugs and quirks worked out.

Compiling with devkitPro is super easy and takes 1 minute... why do you absolutely need a "release" ? It's already here, development is ongoing, 0.7 is not the holy grail...
And we don't need the bootloader as we have hekate, so for me 0.7 is already feature complete and considered a release (just not binaries available on github but you can go to Ave build server)

The main reason is being the 4.1 softmod :P

No, thats about the exploit and not about atmosphere or any CFW... If later someone leaks a new better exploit, all CFW out there will most likely adopt it.

The source is there on the page that I linked, I'm not sure how you missed it.
Learn how to compile and you can have it right now.

So I guess what you're saying is that the $20 I paid to TX was to have them compile working software for me within a reasonable amount of time that they actually release and then constantly fix and improve?? What greedy jerks!! The programmers should just fight among themselves and cry about having their work that hasn't even been properly released stolen.

It's the same reason I hate Tesla for stealing the steering wheel design for my flying car that I will eventually build one day... you will just need to compile all of the pieces into a working flying car yourself first...

Yes exactly, you just paid for free open source code under license. You just don't understand what coding under license implies.
If you are satisfied with SX, good for you, that's your right 100%. Just a bit annoying to see you moaning about "release" whereas you are using the said "unreleased" code in your purchased illegal product.
