so i have been trying to install a couple cia's with multiple apps (big red menu, dev menu, fbi,nasa...) but i keep getting this error and i can't get rit of it. i tried clearing my sd and it hasnt worked,my sd card is 64gb 64 cluster size and only small sized cias work (~10 mb) but i don't know if its because of the cia itself or the file is corrupt i have luma cfw and run fbi from home launcher. i was able to install the cia before i changed my cluster size to 64 but idk if that plays any role

Failed to install CIA file.

Copy the file on the SD onto your computer if you don't have a backup of them , use Minitool Partition Wizard to partition the SD card, are you on CFW in the first place?
yes. i have lumacfw latest version which i installed a couple days ago. can i use the godmode9 format sd card function?

will i have to reinstall gm9 and luma after formatting it? or can i just copy the files rn back and they'll load when i put the sd in?

B9S is installed on the system, the boot.firm is used to boot into Luma3ds, and Godmode9.firm is used to boot into GM9, so as long you have all the file you should be fine, As I suggested make a backup of the file before formattting.
