I think you misunderstand the purpose of Nut. While Nut has the ability to download from the CDN, its purpose is to archive all CDN content for situations like this where CDN access is cut off. Additionally, downloading from the CDN is only a small part of what Nut does. nut will be fine no matter what happens
Why do you think Nut doesnt have a normal GUI like the other CDN downloaders? Nut isn't meant for average users.Edit: personally I hope nintendo does cut off CDN access. The community has acted terrible, and abused Nintendo / forced its hand like others have said. Not only are you going to pirate their software, but you are going to use their bandwidth to do it? Freeshop should have never been released, and people shouldnt be posting public certs.

Nintendo completely slowed down nut downloads. Next step is to completely cut it off
Nut is used to host your own games. It will be fine. Downloading from cdn is just a portion of what it does.
Would be pretty cool if they updated the servers to block CDNSP and restore the superbans.

Because there's the legality issue in EU Laws. A banned console is usually banned from Online only. A superban blocks firmware updates.
Banned from online play is one thing, blocked from receiving firmware updates is another. You never know what exploit might appear that might be used to attack/exploit the average user.

It is illegal to sell firmware updates. They cannot go the "oh buy this game it has a update to the exploit that it was discovered" route.
Then don’t buy it. When you ran unsigned code you lost the right to use their servers. You’re basically in the same boat as people without internet. Internet on the console is a privilege, it’s not guaranteed.
There has been plenty of time to take ALL of the cookies out of the jar before mom caught on... maybe disk space or connection speed might be issues for some but there's no real reason to have to NEED CDN anymore if you played this out right, will only need to look for any new stuff from this point on.
