In the time it took from the initial announcement to a playable demo that wasn't a joke the Wii U and the Vita died, not to mention that Nintendo released a new console. If they keep it up they'll run out of systems to release the game on. It's a 2D Castlevania look-alike, not the next Elder Scrolls. And yes, planning of BOTW was severely impacted by the death of the Wii U and the necessity to adapt the game to the Switch, it *was* poorly planned, which is why it was a 7/10 Skyrim Lite upon release and not a 10/10 Zelda, the game required several patches before the mechanics were actually ironed out. Please, continue to get more and more upset over someone stating the obvious, I'm sure Bloodstained will deliver and will play brilliantly on your brand-new Smach Z.
The first demo wasn't even that bad (not the best thing, but it still played well) , but players claimed it was too slow (despite playing at the same speed as similar castlevania games) and looked terrible so they went back polished up the graphics and even increased movement speed a little.
The second demo however played just fine, yet people still insisted that it need more polish which is what they are working on now and why it was pushed back. The same thing is happening with KH3, where the game would have come out sooner, but players felt the combat was off so it got pushed back a month.
Neither of these are bad things because it does help the game get better, which has been shown the changes from the 2017 demo to the 2018 demo.
The patches that you are talking about for Breath of the Wild were mostly to stop frame stuttering which many people either didn't experience or experienced very little of, considering many people still considered it a 8-9/10 game I am going to say it wasn't that big of a deal or at least not a big of one as you are making it out to be.
The Wii U was a failure of a console for as was the Vita was a failure of a handheld and support for both started to end about 2-3 years ago anyway, which you would and should know if you actually kept up with gaming in any way shape or form. Care to tell me any large/well known exclusives that came out on either because I can't recall any...other than Breath of the Wild on Wii U. Speaking on both as well, many people even express a good amount of buyers remorse for both and I have seen one or the other literally gathering dust in peoples' homes.
To your "Telling it like it is" schtick, you're speculating wildly with only ""Proof"" being a couple of other games that have had similar ordeals, however they are still not the same and you have already admitted you are blowing things wildly out of proportion (Which you did so again just now) so good contradiction here.
As for them taking a while, it's a small indie team of devs creating new code, models, assets, and everything else for a brand new game and comparing it to a large studio such a Bathesda is absolutely the most idiotic thing you have posted so far. There are games similar in art styles, and pure 2D games, in the modern age that have required 4-5 years to develop and that is with larger Budgets. Game Development isn't easy or simple by any means and acting like it is completely ignorant.
If the best you can do is shit on everything, speculate wildly with no real proof, and spout nothing but over top meme replies while acting like a over-entitled 5-year old throwing a temper tantrum I honestly don't think you deserve that title of "Global Moderator".
