Due to overwhelming request here is the Trinket M0 external Build project. This project included a Trinket M0, Pushbutton, USBC breakout board as well as a CR2032 Coin Cell Holder. Below are links to the items used in this build. I will also have setup a Paypal Pool, or something, for people who may want to either donate or order one of these directly from me. I have not ordered any extra parts to begin constructing these as a product however if I omit the USB C connector and include a 0.5m USBC cable I can construct the Coin cell and button portion of this chip and release that rather immediately as I have local sources for those items at this time.
Thank you and ENJOY!

Trinket M0 can be found basically anywhere

You should have a 3d printed brace for the USB connector. For me, i would not trust pushing it in over and over, something will break, even with that big ground point.
either way, good tut.
Im going to still keep mine internal :)

Thanks for the tutorial. I had a go but as you say in the video "this is the part where everyone will fail!". Attempted to solder to the pads using a usb c cable but then dropped the trinket which lifted the data - pad. :( I tried to solder directly to the chip instead but my pc just doesn't recognise the trinket anymore. Unrecognised device. Think i may have killed it as the joint looks clean. It does still flash with a battery installed though as if it tries to push a payload and the reset button still works.

Gents,

Should I just build some chips with the wires soldered on already? All you need to do is solder to the Switch? Would that simplify things for everyone or is everyone just going to buy a rebug? I am sorry you killed your chip :( RIP Trinket M0...you will be missed...

Does someone have a link to this guide? I have an unused Trinket M0 and am looking to complete this project.
