Nintendo can just as much detect you using RCM with a jig as they can detect using a Joycon mod plus you can only use your switch offline anyway so why even go online using RCM ? But i'll leave you be seeing you adjusted your post, just wanted to give my 2 cents that the original claim you made a joycon mod costing more then a jig well is incorrect. That's all

First, I don't go online. Updates can be installed manually offline, which can contain the brick code I mentioned.

Second, not everyone want to modify and to solder their daily driver Joy-Cons.

You can also bend the joy con pins but it is what it is

I don't want this thread to turn into discussion of how paperclip/tinfoil/bending/screwdriver/etc is safe and reliable to use.

 I don't know why we even discuss it here. There are there are countless other threads on those topics in this forum.

Excellent. I spent more time explaining people that this post is about finding reliable RCM jig that will not break Joy-Con pins, than speaking about the jigs themselves.

Yesterday I purchased this one. I hope it will be as advertised.

I'm curious, is this the same as the jig posted by op?
It looks the same, BUT the box doesn't have the xkit.xyz URL on it, and you know how you can find a Chinese knockoff of almost everything, this itself MIGHT be a knockoff of this already relatively unknown product.

What I really wanna know is if it's as good as op made the xkit.xyz jig out to be... i.e. better than the SX pro jig
Let us know when you get it :P

There is no "xkit.xyz" on my jig box either. But like I wrote, it seems that the quality is there.

@bundat This is what I got from Aliexpress. Delivery took 10 days.

It works flawlessly. I got into rcm 100% of the times I used it. Now I'm using autorcm though.

Hi guys,

As I am about to use CWF on my Switch, I have been looking for a RCM jig lately.

I know that the safest option is spare Joy-Con mod, but currently this is not really the way I could go (unemployed at the moment).

Therefore I have been looking for the jig that resembles Joy-Con rail the best.
TX SX Pro jig seems like good one, but I didn't found a way to buy it separately from SX Pro.

And then I found this one: http://www.xkit.xyz/rcmclip/
I would like to hear your opinion.
It is available on eBay/Aliexpress for 2-3$ + shipping.

I don't want this thread to turn into discussion of how paperclip/tinfoil/bending/screwdriver/etc is safe and reliable to use.
What I want is jig that doesn't damage Joy-Con slot pins.

Thank you.

EDIT:
The jig has arrived (red one). In a meantime I bought TX's jig (black one).
This jig looks and feels a lot more tender and easier on Joy-Con slot compared to TX's jig.
Although the click sound can also be heard when inserting red jig, it sounds a lot more tender than inserting TX's jig.

Send e-mail to allen@3ds-flashcard, he will give you the link to buy a SX Pro jig.

OP, which one did you end up liking better and, therefore, recommend?

I actually have them both here (plus the jig from the R4S) and would love to hear your opinion.

Like I said, RCMClip seems like to put less strain on joycon slot, but that's just my impression.

Dude, just buy them on eBay. They're 2$ shipped because someone 3D prints it. It's slightly more complex than bending a paper clip. You're not using it to tie in your rope when hanging from a cliff.
