Hacking Using the Network Transfer to SD Card In SX OS

Hello:

I'm sorry, I know this has probably been asked before, but I ran a search first and didn't quite know what phrase to search for.

Can I use the Network transfer while in SX OS to transfer backups to my SD Card? I understand that this could be risky for a ban, but I am okay with that.

use homebrew app like ftpd, but people said it is pretty slow, few hundred KB/s

Ah I see, thanks. Damn, that is pretty slow. I’m worried that my dongle will crap out on me if I have to use it to boot too many times. May just need to go CDNSP and accept the ban

so buy another dongle if it does

Yeah I meant Freeshop, was thinking they were similar things.

And yeah lol, but I would rather not spend another $50 and be without my Switch for another week or more (depending on stock).

I’m sure it won’t crap out on me though, I just get a little too worried about stuff like that

Ohh no lmao, sorry, the SX Pro. I've seen some people mentioned theirs bit the dust after a few uses, so I don't want to overuse mine too much if possible.

i resold mine with a hacked switch for 500 bucks and decided to use my phone with NX Loader
It runs as a service in the background so all i have to do is plug my usb c to c cable and thats it

Welp, just as I feared, my dongle is broken already. I used it a total of 4 times (once to install, and the following 3 to load backups and stuff). Went to boot up, and no green light. So I figured that was no big deal - just had to charge it. Used the USB cable they sent to charge, and I'm not getting a green light at all now.

Do you happen to know anything about this?

I transfer with ftp at a rock solid 2,1 mb/sec so for whatever reason it's fast enough for me to transfer games.

Which app are you using for this? I’d be okay with that kind of speed. If the files were like 7-15 gigs I could always just transfer those at night

Transferring smaller files I can do without charging but if I was to transfer 30gb I'd just put it in the dock and it'll just sit there and stay at full charge. It eats battery due to the SD card working I suppose. The console sits 1m away from a powerful router.

Ah gotcha okay thanks, was thinking you meant it was a different app than the one dsrules mentioned.

That’s great to hear that you’re getting a better transfer rate - definitely need to try my hand and see what I can squeeze out of it
