ROM Hack Question Will I get banned when I use checkpoint for save edit?

I want to know if I try to use checkpoint to edit my game's save, will I get banned because I do it?(I will not edit any online game save)

I've only used Checkpoint for Xenoblade 2 and Sonic Mania, both offline games and I haven't been banned. Sonic Mania does have a leaderboard however, so I try to stay offline when playing it, and that should apply for any online game you edit your save for.

No one knows for sure, it's a bit of a minefield at the moment. I'm just talking from personal experience, and I could still get banned at any time in the future.

Its a risk , you know that you are doing something with the console or game , that nintendo doesnt want to you to do , get rid of the fear .
Buy a second console and use that one for online and legit games only without any cheats and use the other one , to do anything else or ................. live in fear to be ban
