Anytime i turn airplane mode off the games i have auto update will this result in a ban? How do you even know if you are already baned?

I have no intent on playing online or using eshop.

I find that strange...why do people mess with the updates by nsp files then?
To prevent connecting to Nintendo's network or to get the update installed faster. Idk. It's something I question why people dump updates but it makes sense if you're trying to experience a game before "patches" came by

Justified or not, probably because they're paranoid. Better "safe" than sorry, I guess. It's good to have nsp updates around anyway, if for just archival reasons.

So is it safe to update games using Xecuter boot method?
I´m usually downloading and installing updates and dlcs, cause I was worried about a possible ban.
No one banned from updates then?

Boot into OFW and update your games from there. After that, boot into CFW and make sure airplane mode is on
