Anyways, love the mod, been using it by default for a few months now.
Curious as to if there would be any way in the future to do this to the mario kart 8 deluxe version? As it seems, by watching videos on youtube, I don't think the vanilla AI are any different from normal Mario Kart 8. Just curious. Thanks.

You can replace them with FTPiiU so whenver you start up the game they are loaded

Of course not, you can't write to the disc no matter how much l33t iosuhax you have

Running a digital version is now the new preferred method for everything. It has like no disadvantage except for getting a big USB drive. They aren't expensive anyway

This is strange, I installed your mod in the correct path with this Cafiine Server: https://github.com/Syroot/CafiineServer and MK8 is just hung up at the splash screen (USA, Disc Version, 5.5.1, using cbhc and geckiine). Any ideas?

EDIT: Nevermind, geckiine doesn't seem to work at all with mk8

Hello, great mod, but was wondering, is there anyway to disable the cpu's rubberbanding and making them drive at a constant 1.06f speed (which is equivalent to the speed of a player with 10 coins) or even make the speed of the rubberband to 1.06f speed?

It's possible, but that will break a lot of things and make the game a lot less challenging.

There have been numerous changes to the vanilla AI in Deluxe, mainly for 200cc races. But I think they still use BYAMLS sooo look forward to it in the future!

SDCafiine works only with games that utilizes sdcard such as Smash.It won't work with MK8 unfortunattely.Alternatively you can dump the MK8 files,add this mod and then launch with loadiine.That's what im doing atm .

Wait can you tell me the steps to your alternatively plan. So I dump the files, then can you tell me the next steps you did

Found a mk8d mod. Although comments say it doesn't work really. I havent tested it myself. Figured I'd post here showing it seems to be possible to create this. (Cant post links apparently, so I'll just say it's on gamebanana site under mario kart 8 deluxe mods, called harder cpu mod)
