hi, first this is not mine, this is from my friend who doesn't know how to fix this
i've tried to help her but couldn't
she have legit microSD card, sandisk 128GB
some games was okey, then they become white after she format the microSD as i told her to do( i thought this could fix her issue)
but it made it worse

the microSD is formatted as exFAT, the Switch on last update.

and this is the files in the microSD card, hidden files are enabled

i thought maybe the backup are bad, but some was working good, like Super Bomberman R was working, now it's not working.

any idea?

IT IS MOST DEFINITELY THE SD CARD'S PROBLEM

I was having the same problem on 64gb card, I switched to a 32gb, same files, same format, and it worked perfectly.
Tell her to get a new card, it can't be fixed.

she tried crash bandicoot dump and it worked, after that it become white, formatted the card again and it still white, after several time it worked again.
she tested the card yesterday with h2testw and it finished, sadly she didn't take a screenshot and immediately closed the app, i screamed at her.

This could definitely be a fake sd card, those files are corrupted.

You should rename all of your game files. It's really disgusting to see all of that unorganized mess.

If someones file organisation disgusts you, there is clearly a problem. And it isn`t the files!

Mine are scattered all over the place. And guess what... I don`t EVER lose one file...

...I lose them by the bloody dozen

Don't worry, I've told her that.
Now i have to wait when the test are done and she calls me.

I honestly had the same problem too. Turned out I fixed my problem by updating to the latest firmware. I was on 3.0.0 and 90% of the games I had didn't work. Only games I had ripped from carts did. I ended up updating from within sx os to preserve my fuses after doing my nand backup. Upon reboot I immediately went into hekate and bricmii to enable auto rcm to prevent stock os from burning fuses. All the games worked and it still shows as 3 fuses burned in 5.1. Good luck!

You are aware you burnt your cartridge slot doing that, correct? You can update using the method rajkosto posted and use the generated kip to stop it, but within sx is there is no way.

Yes I know. I didn't do all my homework lol but as it stands now I don't really think it'll matter in the long run. I decided to just put a trinket and have my cold boot that way. I patiently waited for a solution and now that sx has arrived I don't see the desires to continue waiting for a emunand. However if it does drop then going back to 3.0 would matter since it would be for the sake of emunanding a higher fw anyway thus the cartridge slot would work again would it not? So to preserve the slot for <4.0 seems backwards if the reason for emunand is to emulate >4.0?

Sorry if I confused you guys with this. It just seems better to have higher firmware compatability. Don't care about banning or any of that. Just want to have my cartridge backups without the need of depending on their eshop. This way if they get brutal and decide to Bork my switch or account I can still resell my physical cartridges and recoup some costs. I can't imagine having 50+ digital titles that are worthless should Nintendo disagree with how I use my system.

i going to laugh at her now (not really), the funny thing is, that card wasn't even cheap, its 128GB sandisk card for $50
