please show me how to use Sys-FTPD
I do not know how to use it

Go to RCM
Push the new hekate 3.1 .bin
Launch firmware option LayeredFS with sysFTP
When Switch boots up
Turn on WiFi, check Internet Settigns > IP Address

Go to PC, using your FTP client connect to the IP Address above with port 5000

Liking the new FTP feature!
Sometimes you just need to change a single file (looking at the main.npdm file) and this does that. Awesome!
I wish we're not far off the sd card mount feature.

Thank you for this new 5.1 version!

Here is my experience with this version on 4.0.1 (and hekate_ctcaer_3.1.bin as payload):
- I still need a patched kernel if I wish to use LayeredFS
- When I boot with the FTP support, the homebrew browser doesn't work: it says it cannot find "switch" folder in my SD card then I get a FW crash when I press home button
- The FTP itself seems much more reliable than FTPD (I did not get any crash while using it)

In Hekate payload, under the tools section there is an option to fix the archive bit for switch folder. Run that and you should be good.

@Drakia : It seems it was my mistake, my first test with SD files v5.1 was including FTP and, by default "atmosphere=1" is missing for this category.
Now, I removed my "kernel=modules/kernel-patched.bin" and replaced it by "atmosphere=1" and everything works fine.
Thank you!
Awesome :) You had me scared for a second there, I'm the one who got the fixed 4.x patches in Hekate and Atmosphere :P

look at the output ftpd (The homebrew app) gives you - This is often caused by some weird/corrupt file on your sd

Are you on exFAT?
Ugh that thing. Alright

Ugh that thing. Alright
FtpD accepts the connection.

I'm thinking about using hekate in conjunction with sx os. So, sx os for backups, hekate for homebrew, instead of the sx os album homebrew launcher. I would have to use 2 different payloads and RCM each time I want to go between them. Is hekate more stable than sx os for homebrew apps?

Hekate/Atmosphere is a loot more stable since SX OS just uses some old version of them

I tried this one: it told me it fixed 408 folders/file. But the problem is still there: if I boot the OS with FTP support, I cannot launch the homebrew menu.
