Hello,

i installed sx os to my switch. I installed auto rcm. It told me to reboot to finish the installation. I rebooted and now my switch doesnt turn on.

Am I just noob or did I brick my console?

My console battery is 100% by the way, so it is a battery problem.

What the guy above me said.

However it is very worrying that you'd randomly install something onto your console without knowing exactly what it is and how it works.

I suggest some light reading on your part

Also I assume you didn't do a nand backup before hand, this is something you definitely should have done before anything else

I did exactly what they said in sx website. Does the console turn on or off if I press the power button while in rc-mode.

Unfortunately switch doesnt connect to Tegrarcm gui

I would use NXLoader if you have an android phone, but you've intentional corrupted your bootloader which is the case via autorcm. Tegra should see it. It's hard to say exactly what you're doing wrong without being in front of the console

wait you only bought the sx os, not a dongle?
if it's in rcm mode (because of autorcm) you need to send a payload to boot beyond RCM.

does your computer make the usb connect sound at all? you may need to refresh the driver?

Alternatively use NXLoader on a compatible android phone.

gismo. It does not connect to pc at all.

how was your battery? if it's been in RCM it's actually on even if the screen is off, it could have discharged during all this time. try putting it on the charger.
Personally I don't endorse SX OS or the TX team behind it. I only use hekate + hbloader for homebrews lol.

Anyway I'll still try to help you get booted so you can restore normal boot instead of autoRCM

When in rcm mode the switch screen will not be turned on, it will be impossible to tell if its in rcm or off. I assume that ur pc was previously detecting rcm mode for you to even get sx os working, it is possible you kept rcm mode on while thinking the console was off and drained it?

Try sitting it in the dock for a hour or so then connect to pc again. And turn on switch. Try a android phone if availible. Also as mentioned update drivers on pc/uninstall and reinstall them

Well technically.... autoRCM bricks the console lol It is a brick. It probably died after sitting in SX's autoRCM this whole time. I recommend using briccmii v2 to install ARCM if you resurrect it.
Just leave it plugged in or put it in the dock for a long period of time. And as soon as you get the chance just have the SX OS payload spamming towards rcm mode after maybe a day of charging and then as soon as it boots plug it into the wall charger!

if it is that's the first SX brick confirmed? lol. not with their brick-code though.

hopefully it's just the usual RCM issues.
No..... lol

No..... lol

A day... cmon, it's less than an hour to get it to at least start up

I say a day because others have had to put it on for just that long to get it to boot and some are still having issues getting it to boot..
Thanks guys. Now it seems to work. I needed to hold power button for 30 seconds. Now it connects normally to pc. =)
Oh ok that's great! Tbh I would say use briccmii v2 to install AutoRCM if you have any other issues! Glad you didnt have to wait!

theoretically yeah. I would do it in original fw and not sx os.
