  • Add eShop NSP support
This adds support for installing and launching installed eShop NSP files. This is still rough around the edges and for advanced users only. To install NSP files you need a legitimate copy of the DevMenu, which can be launched currently via LayeredFS. We are still working on adding a custom and easy to use NSP installer to our own menu system. Stay tuned!
WARNING: We do not recommend playing online with installed eShop NSP games without a valid ticket, as this WILL lead to a console ban without a doubt.

Use layeredFS to install DevMenu.
Put NPS file on root SD.
Install NPS from DevMenu Application Menu : 'Install from SD'

Just to clarify, can actually using DevMenu result in a ban or just going online using NSP games?

Playing a NSP game online or just going online with a NSP game installed on Switch?

Devmenu itself on one hand and using the layeredfs menu to get it running at all on the other hand both are very likely to flag you for a ban. Oh, and going online with a nsp installed game without cert as well.

Don't even bother with 1.3, wait for the next update. The devmenu doesn't work with exfat and is not stable. Layeredfs is useless, if we want to waste time testing hosts to patch games - we wouldn't have bought SX OS (and layeredfs is free anyway).

I've found DevMenu works in terms of navigating it etc on SXOS 1.3 (5.1.0 firm) exfat sd.
But trying to install app I get:
failed to access sd card result: 0x00000202
I guess this is expected with exfat?

Don't think it is, my card is ex-FAT and most games have installed fine

Yes as I expected, you're right.
I tried a different exfat card 64gb compared to my original 400gb and it worked so I wonder if there is some size limit on the card the Devmenu can access.
I'm going to try to move the title once installed over to the other card to see if it is a workaround for now.

EDIT: Can't work out how to copy over from one card to another without it requesting I redownload data so for now, I'll need to use
the other SD card for eshop until perhaps the streamlined method comes from TX which may work on my card.

After I renaming the 202 errored NSP files in shorter names,
every file installed with no problem.

I guess 202 error means about name length of the files.
Hope this helps.
