I am trying to launch FBI so I did these steps:
Launch the Download Play application
Press (L) + (Down) + (Select) at the same time to open the Rosalina menu
Select “Miscellaneous options”
Select “Switch the hb. title to the current app.”

but when I choose this option I get an error that says Operation Failed (no suitable process found)

You need to open it. Not just look at it in the home menu.

You won't be able to redownload bought games (from the eShop, you'd have to use freeShop), and you wouldn't be able to play games like Badge Arcade. It will be easy to relink it on the same console, just go into NNID Settings and sign back in.

Greetings everyone. I am very new to the 3ds hacking scene.
I been interested in buying a 2dsxl for awhile now. What's the best choice if I want to play big selection of downloaded games, use save editors, access to homebrew and use NTR/cheats in-game?
I was told about the new sky3ds+ card for the 2dsxl, but I don't know if it supports NTR/cheats. I'm also not interested in online gaming. The less risks; the better.

Edit: I just learned about Stargate 3DS. For me it's $20 cheaper than sky3ds+. Can anyone tell me if it supports cheats of any kind? And is Stargate safe? I've seen alot of people comment that they are scammers.

I made a CIA of a GBA game I own and installed it on my NAND. When I launch it I get a black screen. Why does this happen?

Most threads on this problem talk about some kind of EmuNAND, but I don't use that.

09/07/2018 EDIT: For anyone who stumbles upon this in the future, I solved my problem in the meantime. I already had the latest version of SaltFW, but according to the changelog some directory paths had changed between versions. Once I moved the binary and the locales folder to the expected paths, my problem was resolved.

Try using Luma and see if you still have a problem. If you do, we'll troubleshoot from there.

Yes use the one you said, and that paragraph means that if you updated with a cartridge instead of the internet then soundhax won't work. But I can tell by your firmware string that you didn't, so you're fine.

I have a New 3DS XL with B9S and Luma. But my niece did a system transfer from an unmodified console to it.

Now i dont see anymore freeshop, FBI, etc...

My question is, having B9S, is still the console modified? or do i have to modify it again in order to install FBI and freeshop?

https://3ds.hacks.guide/finalizing-setup is what ya wanna look at. The console is modded on a system level. not just a few files on a sd card. Its deep enough that console reformats wont make cfw be removed. That link will go over getting fbi and the such installed again.

Hi Guys, I got a secondhand new 3ds xl with a 64 gb memorycard. I want to install a cfw to play roms. I checked the software its on ver 11.6, what should I do upgrade to 11.7 and follow the 3ds hack guide or stay on 11.6 and follow an other method?

Must be FAT32 with 32kb clusters. You'll need a 3rd party program like guiformat for SD cards larger than 32GB on Windows.
