Hello. I have a cfw 3ds with Luma, hb, godmode, cias.
I want to downgrade to 9.2.0, abd I'm on 11.6.0.
Will downgrading using sysupdater thing delete any of my hacks or freeshop games?

It's complicated and I'm about to go somewhere. I'll tell you when I get back. Sry. But can you answer the question?

If you use sysupdater it won't delete any of your stuff, but it is a risky thing to do for no gain whatsoever. Better is to use a CTR transfer, if you follow the guide you won't lose stuff either (for you don't follow the guide you will lose stuff). https://3ds.guide/ctrtransfer. You can find 9.2 files by doing a Web archive search on the guide (since nobody needs to downgrade to 9.2 anymore - that should make you pause and think).

Well, I bought a 64gb SD card to replace my 32gb one, but for some reason the data won't transfer properly. When I use the new one with the data from the 32 card, all my cias and freeshop games are gone. And I can't download new cias either. I don't have a emunand and the new SD card is formated correctly. So it seems that the only way to get the new card to work is to completely rehack my 3ds. (I've already asked about my SD card problem (but not downgrading) on another thread, but I have either tried all the answers or they don't work) please help in anyway you can

Did you make sure your 64GB is formatted to FAT32? What do you mean it won't transfer properly, is your computer giving you an error while copying the files? You don't need to rehack your system and you especially don't need to downgrade to 9.2 in order to accomplish that either. Rehacking your system won't fix your issues, if anything you are adding extra steps instead of properly troubleshooting.

I don't get it if you haven't try to format the SD card, 64gb and above needs to be formatted first.

Yes I formated the 64 to fat32. And the computer doesn't give any error, neither does the 3ds, but all the games and cias are gone, and it says install failed when I try to reinstall the cias from FBI(which i can still access through Homebrew)

Please provide more details
What entry point are you using?
Did you have an emuNAND?
What is the error that you getting?
Does everything still work on the old SD card?

entry point? do you mean luma?
I do not have an emunand.
I did not get an error message on the pc or the 3ds, but my games and cias are gone, but they still take up space on the sd card, and I cant reintall them. I get an 'install failed' in fbi.
my old sd card still works perfectly(because im copying the files, never moving)

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

thanks turd. I have no idea what the problem is either. obviously.

OKAY, back up just a moment.

Are you saying your SD card is currently holding data but no amount of deleting, copying, or formatting will undo or remove them?

my new or old?

Your new card (the 64GB one), does it currently have data on it that cannot be removed when you try re-formatting it blank using SD Card Formatter, Windows File Explorer, guiformat, and MiniTool Partition Wizard?

We have to establish if your problem isn't hardware based or none of our presented solutions are going to work for you.

no, there is no data stuck on it. it is clean. it is formatted into fat32, and there is only one partition. I doubt it is a hardware problem, but when I insert my old(32gb) sd card into any computer it says 'there is a problem with this drive' and it recommends I scan and fix it. I don't know what it thinks the problem is, but I haven't done the scan and fix in case it messes up the data on the card.

Computers will sput that message on a bunch of things. Just X out of it and continue using it. I know i get that when I put my cell phone sd in my pc. Yet every is fine and is usable without issue..

Is there any exact message you get along side the install failed message?

Copy all your 3DS stuff from your old 32 GB card to your desktop. Allow Windows to scan and fix that old card because it detects something is indeed wrong with it. At this point, if you have to reformat it, you shouldn't worry about losing anything as you have that backed up copy.

Your replies from your other thread suggested your new card was the one giving you problems. This is why there's so much confusion on what is wrong with your card(s) as you're not explicit which is which when we were advising you.

Edit - more to add.

Here's another possibility why when you copy stuff from your (old) 32 GB card to your (new) 64 GB card [formatted FAT32 and 32 KB of course], your 64 GB card and CFW setup doesn't work on your 3DS system.

Your original data got corrupted on the old card due to that card being a fake. The only way to verify this is if you reformat that old one and run it through H2testw.

well, I don't want to back it up, fix and possible format the old sd card, and then restore the old card from the backup, because it obviously didn't transfer something to the new card. so that same something might not transfer to the backup of the old sd card.
and sorry turd for not being clear. Ill try harder

Does your old card still works on your 3DS? Are all your games and titles still present in HOME Menu and working/playing on that 32gb card? If not, then your data is presumable no good at this point.

In the post above yours, I added an explanation why your new card doesn't work with copied data from your old card. There is no way to verify if something is wrong with your old card unless you reformat and test it out.
