Yes there is some problems with sleep mode, not sure I'll be able to fix that soon.
not a big problem! Keep Working Hard on this, it's awesome!

also i just discovered something odd, the rom i was lastly playing seems gone from the switch, and the save file seems gone too... not the save state, the real save. I was playing "A Link To The Past"

I'd love to port some Switch homebrew software, but I just don't see a point until Fusee Gelee is out to finalize things, so to speak.

I can confirm same thing just happened, my rom was deleted. Played mario kart, and then hit home to exit. Relaunched psnes and mario kart.sfc was gone. I had to copy it back to roms folder from a backup, but this is repeatable

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

Ok i just tested some more and it appears if the rom has .sfc extension and not zipped, upon hitting home and relaunching psnes the rom is deleted. If the rom has .zip extension all is fine. So a bug to fix then. Can anyone confirm this? My roms are def being deleted, checked with NX-Shell.

Oups, my bad, I know the problem will fix asap ! (I don't use unzipped roms a lot).

Sorry for that guys, here's a new release which fix that : https://github.com/Cpasjuste/psnes/releases/tag/1.5

If you want's more information, there's actually a problem somewhere either in libnx, my sdl2 port (or somewhere else) on file io, or memory management, i'm still not sure after some month of debugging. I have the same problem with my scummvm port on the switch, where it crash in some circumstances. On pSNES, i couldn't find the problem either, where loading multiple zipped roms in a row make the device crash. So the solution for now is to unzip (cache) the sfc rom file in the "psnes" folder, and delete it after it's loaded in memory. Unfortunately, i forgot to check if the loaded rom is indeed the cached file before deletion (which is not the case when loading unzipped roms) :)

Hey guys, question...
DontD want to ask HOW to boot into homebrew, I bet there is a lot of tutorials in this site, but seems there are several ways to do that... So here is my question, which way would be the best one to load this emulator?
Hekate? Or SX OS?...

I don't know if I'm seeing things, but the image quality in pSNES is "softer" than in Retroarch (Salamander). I'm not trying to denigrate; just verify if that's currently a known issue for pSNES (or if that's normal and it's Retroarch that is doing something funny with the image quality).

I took screenshots using the built in button on the Switch. That confirmed I wasn't seeing things. I used 3x and Full on pSNES while using integer scaling and whatever is considered "pixel-perfect" as described on the SNES classic (i.e., not 4x3).

Is this normal/expected? Thanks!
