Mod edit.
General overview of what unbanning would entail. There is no ETA on such a method but you will doubtless find it all over the Switch hacking sites when it does drop.

Every Switch has a unique key/certificate in it.
If Nintendo detects you have modified the system it revokes said key/certificate from their servers.
As you don't control Nintendo's servers and hacking those is a bit beyond the pale (no option to phone Nintendo up either) your main option then to unban your console is to have your Switch present the certificate of an unbanned console. Unlike the Wii it is not just a random number but an actual certificate made at the factory and stored.
Where you get said certificates will vary -- some will sell/share them, you might buy a broken one and get it from there, you might have an offline only one for a kid that does not need its certificate...
There are some minor stumbling blocks to presenting this certificate with the Switch as well; to handle a lot of security stuff the Switch has a hidden security area, one we know and can manipulate, to say nothing of possibly emulate but either way it is not as simple as overwriting a file just yet. Nothing that will be insurmountable but as people can't even be bothered to figure out how things are being banned right now there is no public option (or rumoured private one) for unbanning. Never mind that doing it at present will still likely see a ban in fairly short order if you do go online as, again, nobody has bothered to figure out the detection methods Nintendo is using and such a thing would take a fair bit of effort to keep on top of.

A possible second option for some is if a third party multiplayer service gets made. The scene at large will make sure any game updates and firmware updates get shared and you will still then be able to play online games, probably without even paying.

Maybe using devmenu app or something like that

Yeah, just call Nintendo and tell them you didn't mean to play online with that backup.
There are good chances they will understand the issue and life the ban promptly.
Hey I remember this worked 1 time with the Wii didn't it? I remember people saying they gave them a speech about why it was bad, but then people found a cheat code they could run before loading a game to unban so no one did it anymore.

I don't think that it's possible to get unbanned. If you want to play a game online or visit the eShop, your console is connecting to Nintendo's servers. So they can decide if they allow you to use their services or not. Therefore, you can't do anything about it. However, there are some workarounds which enable you to use a part of Nintendo's services even if you were banned (e.g. starting game downloads through Nintendo's website). But who knows if Nintendo won't find a way to block these methods sometime in the future.

Blocking them is trivial. If it becomes an issue it will be removed. They control the server not any of us.

That's what you get when you pay for shitty proprietary CFW.

Like c'mon guys there is a MUCH safer way to launch backups, it's called using Layeredfs while in airplane mode

I wouldn't hold your breath. But honestly, you should have known the risks you were taking, how can you be so outraged that your actions have got you banned on such a system? This thing isn't still working on Wii levels of security.

Someone has already claimed to be banned in that setup as well. Right now, nothing is guaranteed as far as I'm concerned.

i've only used layeredfs once (airplane mode) and it was for less than 10 minutes and i'm ban now

Yes, but they also need to be careful not to restrict the functionality of other, non-banned consoles. For example, they can't simply remove the option of starting game downloads from the website if other people use this as well. But they could check on the server if the console is banned and thus block this method for banned consoles. What I mean by that is that Nintendo has to think about how to do it best and without restricting the functionality for other innocent people. But yeah, it's only a matter of time until they find a way to block these methods for banned consoles.

Checking a table is pretty easy. They could even allow a download to be initiated and then fail when contacting the system. There's many ways.

If they can design everything here, they can do a basic search.

There are multiple reports of users using layeredfs offline, never using SX OS, and getting banned. Both versions of backup loading are detectable.
