For offline did you inject your MK8 certificate to other roms as well?

No MK8 cert stayed in MK8 dump. I think injecting a cert from a different game is asking for a ban. I have read a few times on these forums that nintendo can find out when a cert doesnt match the game being played. So just a matter of time before bans

So you were able to play MK8 online without a Cert? That's weird because I read someone else had to inject a Cert from another game to play it online.

No, I think he means he was able to boot up the game without the certificate. Going through his earlier posts, he did indeed dump one of his certificates and injected into MK8 in order to play online.

Ok I read that wrong, thought he meant "no MK8 cert was in the dump". A comma after the "No" would have helped.

I mentioned this in another thread too, but I think we should have additional questions on the form, specifically which version(s) of SX OS was used, and if legitimate dumps were used or not.

Reason being, SX OS 1.0 did not emulate the certificates, and if SX OS 1.1 is used without legitimate dumps, and there is phoning home about what games you launched and information about them when offline that is sent when it goes back online, that might be part of the reason for bans.

i own a mk8 flashcart which i dumped with WAIN dumper including its own cert. i did NOT use a different game's cert. i think that could likely lead to a ban

So this confirms that even if you insert a game with a certificate from the same game, you are not safe from being banned. Thank you for the information.

Guys can someone make a google spreadsheet for this, it's too annoying trying to dig through 8 pages (and counting) to see what's going on

If nobody else does it tomorrow, I'll probably whip something up and create a new thread for it as well since there are several different threads for people to report it to.

Thanks, hopefully it'll get stickied somewhere so there's not like 12 threads lol
