From what i read LA Noire isn't a Cart 2 title, the Cart 2 ones not working are newer titles, and mainly because the layout of the partitions is slightly different.

It's a different specific problem with SX OS loading LA Noire right now.

Did SX says if they're gonna add support for cart 2 titles eventually?

Wow, you are a big pirate LOL.

I think I take a huge amount of years to even try 200 games on my PC, but anyway 99% of all games I don't like so yeah :D.

LA Noire was larger than the largest size Switch game currently allowed on cart. A Day One patch was required to play the game, which includes the rest of the game's contents. This must be downloaded from Nintendo prior to playing the game.

It should update just like any other game backup. After updating, it should play just fine.

it doesnt, i actually owned L.A. Noire and i traded the game in and then maintained update and when i tried to run it wouldnt work. My guess is that there something in the update that is needed.

what i SHOULD do is repurchase a used copy of the game, download said update, dump the game and see what happens then.

the game should work fine without any update. It's just 50% of the game but it works.

Also a guy here claims that his own dump works --> BBB dump is failing.

Also BBB dump can be updated anyway.

thats iknda weird, because theres a guy on a FB group who tried his own copy ( i assume) and it failed, but im gonna try a stock game and rip it and see what happens, ill report back

TEAM XECUTER confirmed by answering to people's mail resquests that LANOIRE has a problem with their OS, no need to test anything, just wait

so atm there are some games who work only if you update them...is it correct?

The guys who have updated: any issues, ban etc?

its posts like these..... i suppose you could say that are some games that work only if you update them i.e. rabbid rabbits but you should NEVER EVER update, its that simple, it doesnt matter if other people have had success, if you care at all about playing online, then you should not update.

I agree with you and will not update once everything arrive to my home.

Indeed I sked if some games are working ONLY if you update them

So far i think only mario + rabbid rabbits is the only game that forces you to update to play the game, as far as i know everything is optional
 
my personal dump of LA Noire also doesnt work. I even uninstalled all the updates and re-downloaded, still black screen after switch logo then frozen till i hard reset
