Instead of blindly believing the attempted discrediting of others why not try see if it's actually true. Also he doesn't fucking owe you shit. How he chooses to spend his time is up to him, not you. Are you paying his bills?so instead of focusing on cracking TX he spends time faking emails from TX... i'm loosing confidence.
They should probably just focus efforts of getting the dev menu install function working
That would be way better than this SX OS booting off the SD card crap
TX1.1$ python tx_unpack_data.py
TX1.1$ python tx_pack_data.py
TX1.1$ sha256sum data_80000000.bin

TX1.1$ sha256sum data_repacked_80000000.bin

Basically yesIsn't it possible to debug a licenced copy and see how SX implemented their backup loader?
It's low level programming. It's easier to just crack it.I'd prefer efforts to be put into creating a new backup loader rather than crack SX OS that way we wouldn't still be relying on SX for updates (and possible locking again)

No. Read the previous pages.Surely that depends on the level of security SX has implemented?
If it's that simple why don't you do it thenIt's low level programming. It's easier to just crack it.
Who said anything was simple? Are you even reading what I'm posting or just what you think I'm posting? I said it's easier to crack it than to reverse engineer it, or to create your own. This was said multiple times by developers in this thread on previous pages. If it's that simple why don't you do it then
Low level do not means simple, it does mean talking with the proc and he's right cracking a security is simpler than copying the functions (because it would be a lot of code to review)If it's that simple why don't you do it then
Lol it's not about getting a backup loader. If that is the case they could've worked on it long time ago. It's about fucking TX's protection, that is the accomplishment here. Not the backup loader.
