Hey,
Maybe it's a dumb thinking... But with burned fuses thanks to SX OS, shouldn't we update right now to the last firmware ? In order to have a "normal" number of burned fuses compared to switch's firmware.
I imagine nintendo not allowing you to update in the futur because you have more burned fuses than you should.

edit : fuses are burned only if you have used this https://gbatemp.net/threads/how-to-...nofficially-without-burning-any-fuses.507461/

"But with burned fuses thanks to SX OS"

well, it's not really SX fault, that's only happens if you downgrade using Rajkosto's method.

Maybe but we have no evidence that Nintendo is banning people due to having a mismatch of burnt fuses combined with current firmware. Who knows, maybe someone will whip up something that allows us to burn fuses at will just so we match. Also, your last line should read "less burned fuses" not "more burned fuses".

is there any reason to stay on 4.1.0? I'm debating to upgrade as some say stay while other say upgrade.
Generally, lower firmware has more vulnerabilities. Developers said that there might be a warmboot option for 4.1.0 in the future. But it depends on what you need and want to do with your console. Homebrew, SX OS and LayeredFS work all on the latest firmware right now. If you don't mind using a jig and keep your console in sleep mode (so you don't need to use the jig every time), updating is fine.

Thanks for the reply. I always assume a jig is required if you fully shutdown the switch. Reading around with the SX OS, when enabling AutoRCM, the jig is not required when fully shutting down the switch. Is that correct? Do you know what's the purpose of the dongle if you can just use a jig and buy a SX OS license and upload the payload.

Exactly, if you install AutoRCM, the console will boot in RCM at startup and you don't need a jig anymore. The dongle makes it possible that you don't always have to connect your switch to your PC to inject the payload, since the dongle contains the payload itself.

I was on 3.01 yesterday... But i thought...for what ? I have a jig stick and can hack the console everytime. SXOS will later or tomorrow be hacked. Now i can go to the shop play some Games, Demos and so on...Downgrade is no need @ all. Only thing is maybe a Coldboot hack....But again i have a Jstick and also AutoRCM will work...If i test a Backup i will use the Flightmode. And iam also no Cheater... so if Nintendo maybe will ban me then they will also get no money more from me.... Easy he :) Also i think they will be maybe a downgrade later also with burned fuses...
I mean the System is 100% Hacked and what checks the fuses ? The software. So hackable or isnt it ? :)

Best of the best is when a Andoid Emulator or Windows ARM is also bootable on the Switch... Cant wait :)
