A: Yes, you can. We are compatible with all firmwares and all regions!
Every Switch out in the wild right now will always be able boot into RCM mode to load SX OS, Nintendo has not released any new hardware revisions to fix the exploit.

Unless T214 units are already out I doubt it will be a issue. The T214's are also supposed to have 8gb memory, so I think it will be announced before we see it.

Not gonna lie, the thread title damn near gave me a heart attack.
No, the 8gb is probably for dev units. Nintendo surely is working to patch this, and if something would be announced now it'd be at E3. They're going to fix silently. Also I bought a Switch on US amazon a couple of weeks ago and it was 4.1, it's probably safe to buy still.
Probably just now we will see people crying that their sxpro isnt working because of "mariko" and trying to get their money back
