If you don't want to get banned
Dont play online at all. This isn't the 3DS

All the xci files from BBB have the unique ID removed so Nintendo will be able to detect you 10000%

Nintendo has learned a lot since then. If you make a thread saying how you get banned and it's TX's fault, then jokes on you and I will laugh at you.

Again, do not play online with TX if you don't want to get banned!!!

I concur with OP.

or you could not be dumb and dump your own xci files :)

I think you will find a lot of people here who don't know that. And they will go online, and after the big ban wave they will be mad. So of course for many people here this is absolutly obvious. But maybe someone read this here and after that he won't go online and won't be banned. I think this is helpful

@josemoop you mean till that moment when someone is buying the game again and you are both online?

Also (at least here in germany) its not possible to give a opened/used game back to the seller. It only works for unopened bought games.

I think anyone hacking their switch should be prepared for a ban anyway unless they're being 100% cautious or using another switch completely offline.

What if i just buy games from the store dump them then return the game can i play online
I would not recommend this sort of play. First of all, we don't even have confirmation that going online with your own backup will work. Second of all, if you want to pirate and get banned for it, that's your own responsibility, but do not bring an innocent bystander into your business and risk them getting banned too because of the risks you take.
