Most of us can't obtain a nice 200GB Microsdxc card.

Perhaps in your country.A 200GB card costs less than 1 switch game...

In the US? Maybe on eBay but not on Amazon.A 200GB card costs less than 1 switch game...
Your computer's built-in formatter should be good enoughSpeaking of cards, what's the best way to swap/reformat? I believe my 64G is on FAT-32 and would like to either get it back to exFat since I'm on the latest firmware now or just buy a 200G card. Want to make sure I don't mess something up with my purchased content in the process.
I'm sure of that, I'm just not sure how the switch handles its data. Will it be enough to just copy what's on there before a format? I'm 90% positive yes, just seeking clarification before I have to redownload several full-sized $60 games. In the US? Maybe on eBay but not on Amazon.

Switch supports exFAT and FAT32. However, if you didn't insert an exFAT formatted SD card before, your Switch will try to grab that update as well as update you to the latest firmware. There is not one but two tutorials on how to get that update without going online which requires a dump of your NAND as well as a game with the same version as your system firmware. Only difference between exFAT and FAT32 is whether or not you will be splitting the backups into 4 GB partitions. TX's modchip has shown it is capable of reading them so once Atmopshere has one, should be easy for the community to implement as well.I'm sure of that, I'm just not sure how the switch handles its data. Won't atmo will be able to read exfat?Switch supports exFAT and FAT32. That's actually a good question. I can't read code if my life depended on it so not sure if it was implemented already. I don't even know if they're planning on implementing it considering how relatively simple it is to get the exFAT update. I mean with EmuNAND support, you can just grab the exFAT update with that by updating to the latest firmware. But I guess we'll have to wait and see.Won't atmo will be able to read exfat?
I'm already updated due to accidentally clicking "Update" instead of "Start Software" the other day.Switch supports exFAT and FAT32. Then might as well grab the exFAT update from Nintendo's servers while you got the chance, my dude. At least you're not in danger of losing access to the CFW by updating.I'm already updated due to accidentally clicking "Update" instead of "Start Software" the other day.
rip?Looks like the SD Card Driver is still fucked and does not work at all in Atmo from what i red on the Discord.
I thought that was part of one the recent FW updates. It's separate? Then might as well grab the exFAT update from Nintendo's servers while you got the chance, my dude. At least you're not in danger of losing access to the CFW by updating.

It is separate however Nintendo will only give you the exFAT update if you are on the latest firmware. Consider it a type of anti-hacking measure.I thought that was part of one the recent FW updates. It's separate?

For argument's sake, yes I was wrong in there being a micro SD available for under the price of a Switch retail game but keep in mind its the ONLY one that is under the cost meaning most 200 GB SD cards will run higher than the price of a retail Switch game. Anyways, maybe there might be a deal for Father's Day. Who knows, some dads may be moving from the tool shed to the computer office.Amazon US, themselves, have it for $60.97 when you click on 'new ( ) from'. Personally, I'm waiting for that 400GB to be $100-120 around Black Friday. It was $150 something not too long ago.
