thats not the issue essentially having the console in rcm mode will drain the battery but not charge when connected to power and the system does not notice this change so its actually displaying a different battery % from what its actually at best way to fix this is to just unplug the battery inside the console and plug it back in or just keep letting it die and charging it until it fixes itself
