Hello,

With the new hack 5.05.
I am trying to update the console with Al azif ps4 exploit host with no success.

My ps4update.xml is good i take it from al azif GitHub

I put the pup in updates folder, and i rename with the name of PS4UPDATE_SYSTEM.PUP

PS4 see the update but i can't donwnload it from the host server. Even if i don't put the update in the folder, ps4 see 5.05 update.
But I got an error when i trying to download.

i think the problem come from my settings.json, maybe i have to add the md5 but i don't know how to add , there is no guide for that.

I read the guide a Al azif for the host :

  1. Put the system update in the updates folder as PS4UPDATE_SYSTEM.PUP
    • Optionally put the recovery update in the updates folder as PS4UPDATE_RECOVERY.PUP

      5.05 SYS MD5: F86D4F9D2C049547BD61F942151FFB55

      5.05 REC MD5: C2A602174F6B1D8EF599640CD276924A
  2. Change the "Update" section in settings.json to match your PUP files.

    I would like to do like that because i got a vps server.

The system is at the end of the original file probably to make it stand out as the update only file, while the recovery one is for a new HDD installation with no files on it.
 
if i use the dns of al Azif update doesn't work too, i can unblock playstation.net in settings, and update will work but i don't want :) I want to use the function of the soft, 3 hours and no result for now :)
 
If this ps4 was hacked before i think it blocks updates u should read the whole guide. I am total noob so im not 100% sure but guide seems very informative step by step.

What confuses me is: I'm 99% sure sony deletes the links to previous updates when a new one comes out.... so how would adding the DUS.01.ps4 links download 5.05 when those links are long gone?

I made a PUP downloader, and it ONLY works for legit updates (latest version)... unless you host the file personally on your own server, like I have done..

I remove the update blocker.

I have update the xml file, to redirect on my server, and i have the problem too.
I don't understand how that work, i think the xml redirect the pup file we have to place in updates folder. :(

But always error CE329374

That would make sense, however that means youre obtaining 5.05 pup from where??

They're fighting back against the 5.05 users. I'm sure someone has a PS4UPDATE.PUP file. either a fellow user or a third party source ;) SCEPaR...

Yeah I mean I have the updates myself stored in server for easy access... but the XML method appears to be asking for update via sony official...

i think i understand how that work, maybe my english is not enough good to explain in 1 post :)

So

There is a file in PS4exploit host > Setting.json

This file is an easy way to add dns or redirect rules.
At the beginning of the file there is

"manuals.playstation.net",

"(d|f|h)[a-z]{2}01.(ps4|psp2).update.playstation.net",

So for me the code is for redirect all this link in a specific location like "manuals.playstation.net", redirect to folder exploit and search index.html.

"(d|f|h)[a-z]{2}01.(ps4|psp2).update.playstation.net", have to redirect in updates folder

I am watching in the start.py of the soft.
the answer have to be inside.
