you bought 2 of them though
if it gets reversed a week later then you will have wasted you money on the one for your personal use
and maybe even updated past the point of being able to install a persistent coldboot exploit (assuming you were not on updated already)

i am waiting to see what they will release this weekend for a new video which is rumored

i am still on the fence since i am on 2.x.x
i want to see the soldered version and how it installs at least before i buy the pro
and not sure if i want to update or wait for atmos
i might just buy one and stick it in a drawer and if atmos backups take too long i will give in and update

Like I said
I didn't mind spending MY money

Hmm. I'm curious to see what it looks like inside. And yea, I've done some hardware RE-ing before.
When it comes time close to ship please send me a pm with a po box or something to send it to

Lots of opinions..... in mine you'd be better off with someone like @Reisyukaku

He does enjoy dabbling in 'all' kinds of areas
He is a stingy one. It does not release anything. And he insults you for asking you the favor of knowing your work.

Maybe someone can create a Payload that eviscerates the Xecuter Dongle to extract the data.

That's you're opinion and you're welcome to it, but in my experience he's always shared his work, in particular his CFW on the 3DS which ended off being branched off and eventually became Luma.

I've not seen him being insulting, in fact on the contrary he's pretty helpful in Discord and was on this site when he was more active a few years back.

Purely opinion

If you decide to come back on that comment feel free, but that's the only reaction you're getting from me

There are plenty of devices out there that can do exactly what the TX dongle does, some open source even. There's zero need to reverse engineer a TX dongle, it's absolutely nothing special from a hardware perspective. Easily replicated without having access to their product.

Oh, I'm sorry, I'm wrong ... there is another "redhead" user who kindly asked him how he transmitted his Nintendo Switch and simulated the controls through Twitch in real time, but his response was very offensive. Go ahead with Rei, you can. we all support you Xd...

I think people want the part of the code that loads their legal backups(TM)

Please get the word out that I will have a second TX SX ready to donate to a well known dev for reverse engineering. I put it here because I'd like to see the payload that they use to be available open source
I have no issue using the TX closed source for my needs but I have great respect for the open source community. If any real cool and talented dev is available and willing, I will donate my device for the benefit of the community in the long run

Please let me know. Please keep your TX / Reswitched drama to yourself.

Thanks
Well if TX is smart about protecting their product they might do what other companies do with their electronics, at least from what I’ve seens in the audio industry with OPamps, where they cover all the components of the board with this black goo which is impossible to remove without destroying the whole thing... even though I highly doubt they will, will have to see

I doubt it, I think it will be reverse engineered and they know it, all of their money will come in next few months. They will probably make quite a bit, more people then you think (or will admit) will buy the loader software.

Yeah I was thinking about that the other day... trying to guesstimate how many unit they will be able to move... Looking at the number of views of those sites disributing all the BBB dumps it looks like they could very well sell 50k to 100k units and make in the millions of $

20-50k I'd imagine they could sell. (I'd guess around 20 but in a age where there's gonna be guys talking about a piracy device on YouTube, could be higher)
