Hardware Why is happening with my New 3DS?!

This seems to happen when I put my New 3DS, The small one, in sleep mode. Then I open it and the homemenu starts going haywire!? My 3DS is hacked with luma cfw. But it didn't do this until recently.

You might have to take it apart to see if you can fix it.

Also try recalibrating your c-stick. The issue could be from that instead of the left circle pad. If you hear clicking noise and a catching sensation from the circle pad, yah you need new joystick.

i had a similair problem with my O3ds, after one month of having it the touch screen was detecting touch all the time in the upper left corner :C

I had something similar on my last 2ds xl after hard modding I put it back together and the joystick would just have a mind of its own. I needed to take it back apart then reconnect all of the connections, works fine since then.

Probably just some dust stuck between the shell and the screen.

So the touchscreen isn't working either? That could be dust stuck on the side between the shell and the screen.

it was a brand new console, send it to warranty they replaced the whole screen and said it was an electrical problem

Update:
I returned the 3ds in the video got another one. Hasn't had any issues so far.

Did you mean that the replaced 3ds is a refurbished system?This could very well be a recipe for a new disaster. It'd be much better if you could just find a new system.

It was a secondhand unit that is inspected, cleaned, checked for defects and/or repaired. Since we are not aware on how the previous owner treated the console, hidden defects may arise. I agree with you here.

There is a very high probability that This is a hardware failure. And it points out to either the Circle Pad or D-pad. The sound produced usually came from using your circlepad or dpad in selecting a title in your screen. Since Circle pads are more prone to damage due to its mechanism, i suspect it was a rogue circle pad with loose mechanism that is why it goes wild circling around like that. The shoulder button ZL or ZR usually brings the cursor to the far left or far right and produces a higher pitched sound than the one you currently have. So you could have a go and check on your Circle Pad in a local repair shop near you or you could do it yourself if you have a knowledge in opening a console. Just order a replacement part in ebay. The circle pad is connected tp the mother board through a ribbon and could be easily replaced by just unscrewing and unmounting the part.
