Hardware RCM no longer working

When the rcm method first came out I bent the pins on my joy con and it worked fine a few weeks later I go to try it again nothing won't work just boots up like normal so I bought a rcm jig on eBay and same result the console just boots up like normal

Make sure you're doing it right, look for the similar "can't get into rcm" threads in the hacking & homebrew section for tips. Someone found it only worked if they also removed the left joycon, weirdly.
