Homebrew Suggestion A Proper Internet Browser

We have seen that there is a to access a web browser though the DNS trick. We have seen that media is possible also using the facebook login trick. We should have a homebrew web browser, a proper one, that can play media such as youtube. So many people I would imagine want this but nobody has made it yet.

Because of this I post a bounty. Whoever creates this, and makes it work on latest will receive the details to a mcdonald’s gift card I don’t care about. That’s a lot of fries.

Edit: The gift card is worth 5.00$, less than I expected if somebody actually does this I will add 10$

I'm sure it's possible but I read in another thread that we don't have hardware acceleration working yet in order to properly get it usable.

Best homebrew browser ever made was LinksBoks for the Xbox, I really don't see any decent internet browser coming for the Switch unless it comes from Nintendo (which they might as well, I assume that part of the reason they didn't have a good browser was to prevent creating another homebrew entrypoint, but since now we have an unpatchable solution...)

If you really badly need a proper internet browser, use Linux on Switch. That way you have full download support, media support, and everything else a full-blown desktop browser would give you (except audio, for now anyway).

But I'd honestly love a proper web browser. I would still use my phone most of the time but the Switch would be good for web video or reading long pages of text.

Actually, yes. I wanted to voice my honest opinion on the matter but now I'm tempted to vote banana. And I'm sure there are lots of others in the same boat.

I'm going to be honest - I am looking forward to have the ability to use banana on Switch. I don't know why Nintendo doesn't add the feature oficially, because Nintendo's banana would probably be more ripe than a banana made for homebrew, and would be better integrated. There's no point in Nindendo not adding one, because CFW entrypoints and banana workarounds already exist, and adding a banana wouldn't really be a problem for future bananakit exploits, because they would already be possible with the workarounds. every other console has a banana so it's time for Nintendo to step up their game. Maybe even work with Netflix to add support for protected content to view Netflix in the banana (or better yet a standalone app).
