I have that and I am trying to find out how to get it to work. It does not go all the way in, about 2-3mm of the wire stay visible. The Switch boots up normally.
It looks like this:


Edit: I got it to work but I have to reaaaaallllyyy push down the jig HARD while pressing volup+power. Like as if the wire could easily go further a milimeter or so to make contact, but I can't seem to push it in further into the jig itself.

I got one of these as well. Get some sand paper and sand it from the top so it becomes into an edge from the top. That should make it easier to slide in.

Good idea. Seller offered to send me another one, but it can't hurt to try I guess.

I've just started selling a new design on ebay with a keyring and uses a thinner wire to avoid damaging the contacts as I noticed using a 0.9mm wire can be a little tough to insert. I would post a pic but I'm not allowed yet.

Don't be afraid. Just keep producing the jigs and the pupper doesn't get hurt.
