I got a copy of Splatoon 1 for the wii u on Christmas in 2015 (i think) and its been working very well.
Beat the game's story mode 100%, played some online matches, and with a friend in the 2P mode. But then in 2017 the game stopped working.
I put my game in the freezer (it works :wtf:) and put it back in my wii u, and continued playing no problem. But then recently, it kept on doing the same error again, "Error code: 150-1031". Tried the freezer trick, no luck. I made a video on this, so please check it out. Otherwise, i cant do anything much really. Dont want to buy a new one. (im poor) So please tell me any fixes. Thanks!

Its a known problem, where I worked we had heaps of copies come back with this error.

Didnt know about the freezer trick, perhaps it contracts the plastic disc a little and realligns the data for reading?

Wtf else could the freezer do to it? Lol.

The freezer trick was a myth that started a few years ago that claimed that if you put a dvd/bluray disc in the freezer for a few hours no matter how badly scratched it was it would then come out the freezer as good as new with all scratches removed. Why people actually thought this would work blows my mind.
