I had the same results testing homebrew on 1.0.0.
Seems like some hb is 3.0.0 compatible only.
Thanks for the updates, but as such no real point for me to test this on 5.0.2 but it’s exciting progress nonetheless.
People have posted that most, if not all, homebrew works on 2.x-3.0.0. Those firmwares all have commonalities which I'm guessing is why homebrew is working well on them.

Staying on 1.0.0 seems more and more pointless, especially if newer homebrew will have to be modified to work on it, if anyone bothers to
How so? Every firmware is still ultimately waiting for CFW to be released. Plus all the homebrew will likely be updated to work on the latest firmware seeing as we'll have EmuNAND on the latest firmware.

Personally, I'm staying for the sheer fact that I've waited this long and something may come out exclusively for 1.0.0 and I don't want to miss the gravy train. So it's sort of like a "not damned if you do, not damned if you don't" situations, for me at least.

How would he mod the rcm without a software hack? That's what we have been trying to convince but you just won't embrace it.
Ikr that’s what I said
Also I said you maybe still need a hardmod

Darn why people are so toxic here.. cancer of the community I swear

Or maybe not, maybe they found a way to configure the switch to boot into rcm and to load payloads from the SD card whenever the power + volume botton are holden on boot.

I notice when using it sleep mode makes it crash, which is fine with me because i know it isn't complete yet, but just putting that out there
