Kiiwii any psx games released for ps4 remastered? Would be cool to have psx games in HD on ps4

also any pics ?

That would be cool, psx/ps2/psp all in one place would be the dream!

No pics yet, trust me, when I can show more I will. I will turn this thread into a tutorial... ps there is a gui coming too

I can say so far a couple of games have booted, havent seen actually any go ingame yet, its a matter of settings I guess.

FYI its not just me working on this, if anything I am a back seat driver trying to help lol.

would be nice to use the on the fly texture/audio replacement used in parappa. would take some work to create assets for games, but would still be pretty cool if we could get it to work.

IIRC I think I saw option to dump existing assets: aka you can draw over existing and replace with better textures.... dont quote me on that though....It makes sense that sony would use a setup like that, so they can use external assets instead of having to replace assets in every iso they want to remaster.

IMHO for PSone emulator we could use linux pcsx, maybe soon linux based emulators will be a thing (Dreamcast, DS,...).

But that means boot into linux everytime first.

This official method can have faves on xmb ready to roll.

Loading a psp cfw from the pspemu would be sick. The psp xmb would look horrid on a 4ktv. lol

No, only loco roco and parappa are psphd remaster so far.

So many good PSP games and homebrews to try

If the remaster element is easy too I will make a sub guide for that. Seems a lot like texture packs for the N64 emulators, very simple.

Heh, Homebrew is what I'm specifically interested in.. PSP had a great Homebrew Library

AFAIK only parappa and loc roco remasters.

Possibly sort of found not by me though. Its really THAT simple.

I suggested install parappa pkg as a host then swap game via ftp, but everyone said no... lol
