So you better believe I've ordered Flinthook ($35.00, shipping included) and now that I've got mine, I don't mind recommending that you get yours.
You have until the end of today, May 7th 2018.

Now you have to lick ebay from the backside for physical editions. Better luck next time.

By the way, Mercenary Kings is not Metal Slug and don't expect it to be a mix of Contra and Metal Slug either.

I'll jump for them if they do Lumines remastered when it hits, or (doubly hoping that it even comes to switch) lethal league blaze. I've found the limited run angle a little bit tacky but it does seem they're trying harder to make it into the hands of people who want it these days with the pre order system. It's hard to justify sometimes though, especially because for the smaller-scale games they run you are pretty much guaranteed to be double dipping on. As much as I hate to buy digital, the games I would be willing to double dip on are ones I'm even willing to compromise on getting digitally so it's kind of a pain.

Flinthook kind of flew under the radar, though. I thought the trailer looked okay but I think Celeste kind of overshadowed it. How is it (if you're double-dipping)?

I 100% agree with you on Flinthook being overshadowed by Celeste. I did not get Flinthook digitally, so I can't vouch for it, but it looks interesting and the music I've heard in gameplay videos tugs my nostalgia strings.

I did buy Mercenary Kings and....I wasn't too impressed with gameplay. I wanted a cool run 'n' gun; I got a convoluted mix of ass-ends from lesser-known 90's games, but that's just how I feel about it.

On the up-side, yeah, they (Limited Run) really are trying to give people more time to get games with the pre-order system, so if they see a demand for Switch, we'll probably get better titles and more of them.

a big f** you to them scalpers, i dont care if they 'poor' and want to make 'money' from scalping.
this is just a disgusting business.

What is this limited run games? Looks as overpriced indy games? Or are they that good?
They do limited physical copies of indie games that otherwise wouldn't get published physically. The reason they're limited is part because of a weird collector's thing where they want to have rare things, but also part because they're ordering close to the minimum number of cartridges Nintendo will allow to be made - this is also why they don't do these for Xbox, Microsoft requires a minimum order of I think 50,000 units. My understanding is they don't buy more than they think they need because holding stock is expensive for them.

Ooooh its like this brand supreme where people buy limited edition clothes and try to sell it for 500% more? So this is kinda collector thingy.

i will get one when they release something that appeals to me really.

first one was a point and click game wich i dislike.
flinthook is one of those rogue like games where you need to start from scratch every time you die with afew exceptions of power ups.
mercenary kings just made the game too wierd really, if they went with a spiritual sucessor to metal slug i would get it but nope they used very wierd mechanics.

i got human fall flat from superraregames wich is basicaly limited run games studio on UK and they released flame and the flood too wich i didnt get becuase again those rogue likes games i just let them pass.

OP you might want to add them too since they do the exact same thing as limited run games they make phisical editions of e shop only games for the switch.

jesus fucking christ do you ever close your tabs?
Nope, I let the memory run. It also makes comedic responses that much easier. Plus, I have a lot of guides/FAQs/etc,. ready at the helm.

Kind of, but they're getting better; they gave people a little over a month to prep and they even gave an announcement that it would be pre-order before the pre-order went live. Imagine those amiibo pre-orders.

Mother of fuck, HOW MANY TABS DO YOU HAVE OPEN?!
The amount of tabs you have puts @Chary to shame.

Somewhere between a lot and over the rainbow. Well, she did say, "Get on my level B-)" and I'm an overachiever.

You're almost out of tabs.
Nope, but the pre-order is almost out of time. 40 minutes.

Overpriced? Not at all. Mercenary Kings is about $20.00, so the cart is Switch tax-able, which is how the model should be: digital titles should cost less than physical counterparts. It all makes sense. What doesn't make sense: people charging +$200.00 for something that isn't rare because it's no longer in production, in any format.

Is that a dig.....at....someone who wears Supreme and posts in temper pics:creep:?

Maybe it's like Enter the Gungeon? Maybe not, but it looks fun:

and the soundtrack complements the visuals.
MK is not MS. It's hard to fully explain.

Maybe; do they have any upcoming releases?----that are going to become extremely overpriced in a matter of hours?
they have been selling Human Fall Flat since March 9th. Doesn't seem too pressing of a matter. Still good info.

their next release i think is shelter generations, they release one game per month, im guessing human fall flat didnt sold out that is why its still on sale, very few people know about them tbh.

I think they also have a knack for choosing games...that are a little....iffy. For example, I probably would not buy Shelter Generations because I personally don't need it in my library and doubt the same for others, no matter how limited the game is.

If they (SRG) were to run: Enter the Gungeon, Earthlock, Yooka-Laylee or Stardew Valley, oh brother, I'd punch a baby in the face to place my order.

I'll see how my cash flow goes, but I'll try an order with them and if I have a positive experience, I'll definitely recommend others to give them a try.

Although, I already like the idea of not being "pressured" into buying something before it's unavailable at a normal price....like Squeenix and Lost Sphear--physical floats between $70.00-$120.00.
