here are the links to what items i am talking about.

https://www.amazon.com/Mayflash-Nin...=UTF8&qid=1522860046&sr=8-3&keywords=mayflash

^ that one is only compatible with the switch sadly, and i would love to have something like that ,that would work on both my switch/wii u.

and that is when this Gamecube adapter comes in https://www.amazon.com/Mayflash-Gam...&qid=1522860046&sr=8-4&keywords=mayflash&th=1

and from what i read ,it seems to be compatible with both the switch/wiiu , i am wanting this gamecube adapter one more because i think it works less hassly over the mayflash NS Magic thingie..

as i read mixed comments, how that thing does not turn on automatically when they have their switches put into sleep mode.
im a lazy ass and it would be abit troublesome to get up everytime , itd be as if i am re insterting my controllers to the switch so meh.

anyways, there is one question id like to ask you guys.

i am sure this would be more fitting to the WiiU section, but you switch owners probably have experience to this!
id love for the mayflash gamecube adaptor to be compatible with that Nintendont stuff on the WiiU!

if it is, then i will defintely go for it.
please do let me know, thank you.

will the gamecube controller work with WiiU games??
With Smash, Mario Kart, and maybe others with HidToVpad.
Smash will work automatically I believe, and other Wii U games (that don't need enough buttons can with hidtovpad). You can also use that to remap buttons. It'd forget about wireless. Wireless brings lag, and complicates things when using hidtovpad. Go USB.

With HID-vPad (or whatever the modern replacement is these days, I'm a bit antiquated in my Wii U setup) you can, yeah
do i not need to reconnect anything etc.?
plug and play yeah?

i dislike the free method of wireless function on wii u, with ds4 controllers etc.

id need my laptop always on, to connect it with that cmd thing forgot the name.
and there was also lag.

i think I'll go with the gamecube adapter then, thx guys.

Technically plug n play, but you'll need to run the homebrew application every time for it to start emulating the Gamepad and you'll be limited to one GameCube controller

i only need 1 as i only have one, but what do i have to rerun?
i have that haxchi cbhc stuff installed, do you mean that vpad app..?

that's the one i was hoping i wouldn't need to use ,hm..
why is that necessary? is it only necessary to run it in order to get it to work with WiiU games?

to my final question, let's say my wiiu is off and i have the adapter+ngc controller plugged in and then i turn on the wiiu, can't i just then straight run vwii and then launch Nintendont and have the ngc controller working straight like that?

vpad is necessary because no games natively support the GameCube controller EXCEPT for Sm4sh, so yeah, you're gonna be in the same boat with ANY unofficial controller on the Wii U (that doesn't emulate Wii U Pro Bluetooth, that is). Unfortunately, the Wii U just isn't nearly as open to 3rd party controllers as the Switch is, and that's just the way it is

If you wait for CronusMax 2 it will probably PWND all those devices in the Switch.

I have CM 1 and can use almost any controller on PS3, PS4, X360, Xone, play with mouse and keyboard using PC... It emulates G29 for G25\G27 on the PS4 with true force feedback.

It support mods like rapid fire and anything you want since you have gamepacks and you can create custom scripts\combos for any game and it's fully undetected online, though on games like COD you could be reported if you used jitter fire because it's a exploit on that game that makes even single shot guns to fire at huge firerate, but other games don't have that exploit so no way to get banned, though using K\M someone can still report you like if they see you moving too fast like nuts :)

I can also use X360 controllers wirelessly on the PS4 using the wireless dongle from M$ and DS4 can also be used wirelessly by connecting a Bluetooth adapter on the USB port.......

Or you can search for Titan since it supports Switch already... It's similar to CM.

The gamecube adapter doesn't have rumble on switch though and getting the switch to pick it up was quite a hassle when I used the official one.
It probably will have less lag though as all usb non-switch controllers have always a certain amount of additional latency when comparing their usage on PC.
And adding the wireless communication latency it will probably be slower as the gamecube adapter.

Disabling rumble doesn't work on the 8bitdo and the magic ns dongles, they will just continue to output rumble (Probably missing the disabling bit in the rumble command, but still pretty stupid of nintendo to still send a rumble command even if it was disabled).
In splatoon it is rumbling so intensely when playing online your hands feel it even after the match has ended, they probably ended up adding the small hd rumble commands up so it always rumbles way too hard.
I even send mayflash an email with a video of it ;) and they apparently didn't even understand what I wanted to say when it was shown in a video.
I haven't tried the 8bitdo adapter online in splatoon as I stay on 4.1, maybe that one doesn't add up the hd rumble so bad like the magic ns one.

honestly all the extra stuff/steps that are required always turn me away from purchasing these dongle type of things.
i might just as well save abit more and finally get my switch pro controller instead and just use my wii mote nunchuk thingie for my vwii/ngc games and be done with that.

thank yall for the replies, learnt quite alot.
