Now I'm finishing what I need to and releasing my findings.

End of story.

Having thought on it more, I guess technically it's possible that if you blocked sun, blocked beach, and blocked aqua, and if Nintendo didn't add new secrets in 5.0.0 required for auth (although that would be odd as they did in 3.0.0, and did in 4.0.0) that your console might be willing to talk to atum to get update contents when it first turns on. However, that seems pretty unlikely to me. You'd probably also have to block dauth, and that would jam most communications...

Had any new authentication methods or severs been added to the chain, you all would have noticed it in the slew of changes that happened with 5.0, right?

sound interesting so you are saying there is 0.1% that it possible to update games in 4.1.0 ?

I don't usually bother documenting the new dauth data, because I don't really need to do anything online at the moment. I am still going to say this thread's total nonsense, particularly since the OP claimed in PM to me that his method "involved two Switches".

...that your console might be willing to talk to atum to get update contents when it first turns on.
By "first turn on", do you mean like after a factory reset? But wouldn't that defeat the purpose, since a factory-reset switch would not have any games on it that could be updated?
