Hunt monsters in SSStyle with Dante's classic getup in Monster Hunter: World!

To celebrate the release of Devil May Cry HD Collection on PC, PS4 and Xbox One today, Capcom has announced the Monster Hunter: World - Devil May Cry Collaboration.

Dante, the Son of Sparda, lends his classic coat and two of his favorite swords to the bravest hunters of the New World! You’ll get to fight hellish foes in Monster Hunter: World to earn this devious combination of the Force Edge and Alastor. In Monster Hunter, that weapon falls in the Charge Blade category, and typically features a hefty shield that, when combined with its matching sword, can turn into a massive axe.

Later this year, you’ll get to fight hellish foes in Monster Hunter: World to earn this devious combination of the Force Edge and Alastor, from the Devil May Cry series.

Neat. The only MH game I've ever played was a barely translated MH XX, and I got bored of it within an hour.

Why am I posting here you might be asking? Because, I'm actually pretty hyped for the DMC collection coming to PC. I'm going to wait for it to go on sale though.

Why Dante, though, Seriously? They haven't made a game involving good Dante in years. Is this to draw in new players? A common interest of Monster Hunter fans is DMC? What an odd decision.

That's interesting. I didn't even know there were rumours of a Devil May Cry game. I hope so. I miss that game. Plus, they're releasing an HD collection.
Are they perhaps building some hype or something? Just pure speculation on our part of course. Still not a fan of the 4th game though. Sorry, Capcom.
