As a long term member - can you tell me how many posts I need before I Can post urls? I only ask because I wrote a long ish post about Accio Hacks and some urls for gecko code website only to be told I can't post it lol (I must find the rules and newbie rules post or thread)

You will need 10 forum posts to be able to post urls.
It's a prevention measurement against spamposters.
Just hang around the forums a bit and you will get enough posts in no time.

Ha, I know, that's pretty standard for forums where your post count needs to be above x for something. They always normally exclude your "Intro" post, and/or comments on it

Good point! Now I'm just caught out by the bloody 24 hour per thread thing! I only joined up because a) Getting back into the Wii for a bit and b) I really wanted to discuss something about Accio Hacks (No, not asking "why doesn't it work / download codes") but can't make a new thread now. I get wanting to avoid spam etc, but 1 thread per 24 hours is extreme and annoying - especially when I'd already written out a huge post only to find out I can't post it... Well, actually, first attempt, I got told I needed more than 10 posts to include links, 2nd attempt (I previewed first this time) noticed images not working - assuming for same or similar reason, Then I made this intro post, went back to other tab , removed images tried to post (3rd attempt) said gotta wait 24 hours

just had to copy and paste my post into a text editor so I don't lose it haha

If you have a title you would prefer and stick the post up from notepad to something like pastebin I will edit it in and the title if you want.

Sadly no, this intro thread is my only one, since, as a new account, I can only make a single thread per 24 hours. Thanks for the offer though

If you want to make the reply to this the name of the thread you want to make, the location of it and a "link" to the pastebin of its content I will split it into a new thread in that location with the contents of the pastebin in it.
It will appear to be from you just like you made it with a fully activated account.
