didn't mind that :rofl2:

any big differences worth mentioning? like handling of code execution or spoofing?
To quote my Wiki, " Depends on your definition of better. To put it simply, Rei-Six is a stripped down Luma, with what I see as necessary features of a minimalist CFW. If you were expecting a list of reasons to switch, you will be sorely disappointed. But if you don't like Luma, and you want a different CFW on b9s, this is probably the easiest to switch to. "

so they use the same code-basis? is system stability and speed affected?

Can ReiNand be installed to a FIRM partition like Luma3DS or GodMode9?
ReiNand, no. Rei-Six, I think can be installed to firm1 using fastboot3ds, but it can't be when in gm9. I wouldn't recommend it though.

Okay, I see. Thanks. Fastboot3DS can't "install" stuff, Fastboot3DS is installed, and has it's own slots like firm0/1, but aren't the actual firm0/1. Basically, it lets you increase the available FIRM partitions without repartitioning the NAND and rewriting the bootrom.

No, it writes to firm1. You have to use devmode to unlock the feature.

Finally got around to writing some code again. I added firm loading from NAND! So here is a release! https://github.com/CrimsonMaple/Rei-Six/releases/tag/1.2

Emunand users please don't hate me. I removed the FIRM Binaries. You can still use Emunand though! The previous ones will not work since I got rid of the memekey period. (Press F to pay respects).
There are instructions to get new firm binaries in the README! Be sure to check that out if you use EmuNand!

Looks like an EoL update.
Thanks a lot for the firm loading from NAND Crims :)

Uhh, so, I've never used a CFW other than Luma, but I want to try to load a 1.0.0-0 EmuNAND on my o3DS, but Luma doesn't have support for that, so I was wondering, how can I get it to load EmuNAND? I've gotten conflicting answers.

Rei-Six can't load firms that old. 1.0.0 has some different patches that I don't have implemented. But generally on Rei-Six emunand is booted by holding R at launch or by having a file on your SD called "loademunand" in the /Rei folder with no file extension.
