various event quests' info (because they came out after the patch)

Hmm, I don't even know if these would be translatable the normal way unless the text info already existed in the game, I know the downloaded quests normally get stored in ExtData? which I believe includes all its text, so without like a custom server that hosted the translated versions it might not even be possible.

Edit:
Yup all that info seems to be stored in the save files, seems there is a Japanese tool that can edit these but anyone who wanted the translation would need to go through the process which seems like a pain.

So I followed the patch instructions, but the game isn't in English. Can someone please help me?

My 2DS does have CFW. Where do I get the update CIA?
Download the update on the your Japanese 3DS (yes I saw your other thread), find the title ID of the update using FBI (open FBI, go to Titles, then find MHXX's update and make note of the title ID), use GM9 to convert it to a CIA, then move the CIA to your American 3DS and install it.

My Japanese 3DS isn't hacked, though.

Do you have any idea where I could find the update CIA?
The title keys site has the update and as such, freeShop will have the update. If you search the title keys site, search for "モンスターハンタークロス" and find the latest Patch (it will obtain the latest patch despite what the name says). Click on it then click in the top right corner where a little bubble appears to get a QR code, then use FBI on your US 3DS to scan the QR code (FBI -> Remote Install -> Scan QR code). The iso site might have the update as well.

I found the title keys site, and I searched ""モンスターハンタークロス," and I got this.

:/ I searched モンスターハンタークロス and got this. The two entries are the game and the update.

I didn't. I searched モンスターハンタークロス and got 2 results. I did no filtering. Just find the v1.2.0 patch and install it. :/
Wow, I'm an idiot. I got the patch. Now, where on the SD card do I put it?
