Cool, I’ll check those out. I’ve been wanting to buy one I just couldn’t find any info on legit sites. I’ll probably make a 3DS branch of the repo after I start work there, like how I have a Cemu branch
so are we going to ignore my question?

I'd be glad to partner with you BTW.

Awesome! Thanks. Though I do feel like this project is a long ways away from this step. I’ll definitly hit you up though once further progress is made on this end, I’ve heard good things about your Miiverse clone from a developer buddy of mine.

Will custom Splatfests in Splatoon be supported?

There is a Miiverse replacement, foxverse, that hopes to have Miiverse support coming Soon™. As for Pretendo, I dunno.

Read the messages directly before yours :) Foxverse has offered to partner with Pretendo in the future, which was my goal (I replied to the same comment you did stating that I didn’t really have plans for Miiverse and that I would try to partner with an existing clone)

Proof-of-concept for a custom eShop. Still ages away from a fully fledged custom eShop though

Looks cool! I would like to assist with this project, especially with the game server part. How much have you looked into how Nintendo Network handles games?

Do you have Discord? We can talk more there if you wish, it would probably be a lot faster than using these forums. I am very eager to have some new hands on deck!

This will be spectacular, I can't wait. Until now, I was just waiting for the inevitable server shutdown for all Wii U services, but it's great to see someone making an alternative! If I nay, I suggest you get in touch with the guy who made the Wii U USB Helper. His work will probably be a great benefit to your custom eShop.

Not really. He and I have been in contact for a long time, he's even sent me the source for USB Helper. His program works the same way other eShop rippers work (like MapleSeed, and my personal program I wrote, CemUI, which has the ability to rip games). They don't interact with the entire eShop, at least not the important parts that I'm working in right now. The parts that those rippers touch is just the CDN, which is the final step.

That's extremely nice! And with the custom eShop we could download games directly from it, instead of using Wiiu usb loader? For some people it's better because of the lesser hassle to download a game, because not everyone has a good internet to use wiiu usb to its fully potential, and it's easier kkkkkkk:D

Sorry to disappoint, but seeing as you brought up WiiU USB Helper, I assume you think this will be used for piracy. That is not the case. The custom eShop research is mostly for customization. For example customizing the UI, or hosting custom games/rom hacks. Not piracy.
